18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in the sovereignty of a Holy Trinity, the inerrancy of the Bible, and salvation from sin solely through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. I believe the Ten Commandments and the Great Commandment are the foundation of all laws in the family and civil society. The removal of the Bible from schools and the undermining of its authority has precipitated a rapid decline in morality and increase in crime and lawlessness and the destruction of the family. I believe that the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are God-given rights, and the purpose and duty of government is to protect those rights.
