Our inalienable rights granted to all by God: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
1. National Energy Policy Legislation. The U.S. Congress has not taken up the issue of a National Energy policy since 2008. The free market will fill whatever need may exist. The recent calls for energy independence are for opening up drilling and fracking opportunities to produce our own oil and natural gas. Energy independence is possible. The private sector will supply the need when there is a market for it. 2. Secure our borders and reform Immigration process. The American people are strongly in favor of securing our borders and enforcing immigration laws already on the books. One of the most effective ways to prevent and discourage illegal immigration is to ensure employers are following the law. We must improve employment eligibility verification and enforce it. 3. Fundamental Tax Reform or Fair Tax Legislation. The time has come. If this was accomplished we could virtually eliminate the IRS. The Fair Tax allows Americans to CHOOSE and that is FREEDOM at it's core.
16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
No Exceptions. When we make exceptions, the effort to safe both the mother and child is placed in the hands of an "opinion" and chance is now in charge. Exhausting every humanly possible avenue should be part of the conversation.
17.
