There should be a strict constitutional spending limit for state and local governments that would tie the rate of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.
Strongly Agree
Marijuana should be legalized and regulated like tobacco and alcohol.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Our founders knew of mankind's natural desire for power and control. Defining, separating and limiting powers decreased the potential for absolute power which our President is currently defying and acting as a dictator or a King and bypassing the legislative branches of government. The real intent was Of the People, By the People and For the People, meaning that the government serves the people, not he other way around.
Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Never, life starts at conception. My wife is currently pregnant and we were fortunate enough to see sonograms of our child only weeks old. It's the most beautiful thing given to us, Life! It's interesting that pro-choice people never discuss the fact when a pregnant woman is killed that the individual convicted of doing so is charged with two murders. How can we as a society continue to pretend that killing unborn children is acceptable in any way? One of the roles of government is to protect life and I will continue to support legislation to bans abortion.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was always a very passive Christian until 2010 when I found Christ and began to walk through life with him in it. I have made my fair share of mistakes in life, the military took a heavy toll on me and my Family but I now walk with the Lord and know that I am forgiven of my sins and I try to share my experiences with other and spread the word of faith in God.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I was ranked number 3 most conservative by rice university in a non partisan study of votes taken during the 84th legislative session. I was also ranked #3 most fiscally conservative by Texans for Fiscal Responsibility. I received and A+ rating by Texas Right To Life and was ranked in the top 5 most conservative legislators by Young Conservatives of Texas. I stand by my Christian Conservative voting record. There were a few instances where the establishment purposely pushed legislation that they knew would get NO votes from a handful of true conservatives in hopes of using those votes against us during the election cycle. I stand strong in my convictions and promises to the Lord and the people in the district, I had the intestinal fortitude to vote right regardless of the potential issues that vote might cause later during an election cycle. I did exactly what I promised and I pledge to do the same again during the next legislative session.
