14. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
1. Cleaning up the internal injustices of how Congress operates and how through such failures, Congress divests itself of its Constitutional authority - giving it away to unelected bureaucrats (e.g. the EPA and NSA, etc.) to set law wherein no just consent was given them to operate as such. This is important because until we straighten-out congress, we will not be able to place proper authority back to where it belongs - with the people. 2. Instilling in all congressional actions, a respect for the tenets of the self-evident truths of legitimate government as stated in the Declaration of Independence, such that all potential bills are examined by that filter for their legitimacy of cause, purpose and consent. 3. Term limits for Congress, and for bureaucrats alike.
15. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
No. As a physician, I can tell you that there is no circumstance where a purposed abortion is the answer; you can always at least try and save the mom and the fetus.
16. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
God Individual (you missed this one) Voters Congress = Supreme Court note: The Constitution is a document declaring the authority of the people, but is not itself the authority
17. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christ is the Salvation of the World, and offers his saving sacrifice to all who are willing to accept Him and repent. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and God is still active in our lives today. All of its lessons and teachings are good for our understanding and spiritual life. As a Christian, it is my blessed privilege to bring the word of salvation to all, and I do - to my friends, my patients (in my practice as a physician) and in how I live out my life with my family.
