15. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

America's Founders wanted to make sure that there were checks in balances in our government so that would would not be living under a monarchy such as before and to make sure that they are not persecuted like they were in England because of their religious beliefs.

16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

After the issues of what has gone on with the VA of the last few years, one of my top 3 would be to push out the current Secretary and replace him with a new one and the push for total reform. My second issue is to support HB 25 and push a Senate version of it to repeal the 16th Amendment and get rid of the IRS and replace it with the Fair Tax Act. the other issue that we need to address is immigration and what we are going to do with it. We have a path to citizenship here is the US and if our current Administration would enforce the laws of the land then we would be able to start deporting the illegals. Under no circumstances would I ever support anything that has amnesty in it.

17. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

As someone who was adopted, I believe there are no circumstances that abortion should be allowed. There are always alternative such as abortion.

18. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As the son, nephew, and grandson of Southern Baptist preachers, I believe that there is a God who sent His Son to die for our sins. I also believe that life begins at conception because God plans every life. My Christian beliefs also tell me that the Sanctity of Marriage is between a man and a women and anything else is an abomination in the eyes of Christ such as what is referenced in both the Old and New Testaments.
