OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
In no circumstance except to prevent the death of the mother applying the doctrine of double effect.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I support cutting taxes and allowing Americans to keep more of the money they earn. I support changes to the tax code such as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed under President Trump. I believe we need to have a tax code that works for families, businesses, and individual earners.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
Our founders never intended for there to be an outlawing of religion from government, only that government could not dictate a religious beliefs onto its citizens. I strongly believe that our nation would be a better place with leaders who hold strong religious beliefs and vote, protect, and uphold those values in their elected positions.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I believe that private employers have the legal right to require their employees to be vaccinated. That being said I encourage and urge employers to only exercise this right when absolutely necessary. As an employer myself of nearly 200 employees I never mandated vaccines and felt the same challenges as many businesses when the Biden Administration unconstitutionally mandated vaccinations for companies with more than 100 employees.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
First and foremost we must continue to be strong in our support of the State of Israel. We must also support agreements such as the "Abraham Accords" which foster peace and prosperity in the region. To eradicate Islamic terrorism it is fundamental that we cut off support to the funders of terror. Countries such as Iran must face harsh sanctions and not receive U.S. resources when they simply filter those resources to terrorist groups.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
The United States is a welcoming country and we pride ourselves on our openness for those looking for a better life or fleeing persecution. However, I strongly believe that our immigration laws are broken. It is fundamentally against the rule of law to be favoring those who cross our border illegally rather than those who follow the legal process. I believe in stronger border security including President Trump's wall, support for our border patrol agents, and building an immigration system that actually works favoring workforce, and skilled labor. Finally we must end chain migration.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a practicing Catholic who believes in the churches teachings on marriage, sexuality, and the dignity of life.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I am a strong supporter of voter ID, I believe it is a commonsense step we can take to build confidents in our elections.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
The United States has made great strides in the path towards liberty and justice for all over the last 60+ years. I do not see racism as a threat to domestic security but do believe we must draw attention to specific instances of racism and that should never be tolerated.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
My top three priorities are fighting inflation, securing our southern border, and growing Nebraska's rural communities. During my time in the Nebraska Legislature I passed the most sweeping ban on abortion in the nation, codified concealed carry, and preserved the death penalty. I look forward to being a conservative voice in Congress who will be able to get things done.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I do not believe there are additional restrictions needed to protect public safety and am a firm believer in the Second Amendment.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
