QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Save the life of the mother. (Situations in which the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother are extremely rare.)
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Government shouldn't help murder babies.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Life should be in God's hands - cradle to grave.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We should continue to drop the rate of income tax on every tax payer.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I'm always happy to take a little from higher ed.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
College is not for everyone and should not be fully funded by the taxpayers.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
"No human authority can, in any case or manner whatsoever, control or interfere with the right of conscience; and no preference shall ever be given, by law, to any religious establishment, denomination or mode of worship, above any other." Section 24 of Article 2 of the Arkansas Constitution, Declaration of Rights.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
When it has compelling government purpose and closing it is the least restrictive means to achieve that purpose. In short, almost never.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. (However, in a perfect world we would care for our own, and others, with agape love and tax-payer health care would be unnecessary.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I cannot imagine a circumstance where an individuals vaccination status is the business of a government, school, or employer.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
The US people should surrender as, and fund, missionaries to carry the saving power of the Gospel to the places (nations and communities) where such threats are born. The US Government should protect our borders and thoroughly vet any individuals traveling from those regions.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
To the contrary, I have fought such efforts. I believe God's Word is still true when it states: "Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I am open to people coming who are thoroughly vetted and will make a positive contribution to our melting pot, but I believe the individual who is immigrating should have the burden to demonstrate their positive contribution.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Our system is "wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a sinner, a wretch, saved by grace through the sacrifice of the only one who was divine and innocent enough to bear my burdens. I am now spiritually imputed with Christ's righteousness, born again in the spirit, and crucified with Christ. Empowered with all I need to do all that I am called to do, but I am still dragging my flesh along. Freed from the dominion of sin, and a priest and king in Christ Jesus, but finding myself living like a man serving his flesh too often. I believe that we are called to live like Christ as set forth in His Word.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Prohibit all forms of vote harvesting.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes. Today racism is being mainstreamed through intersectionality and divisive philosophies like CRT. "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand."
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Each individual bears the burden for their own sins. See Ezekiel 18.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Governments are instituted among men to secure all our natural rights, and specifically to secure the rights of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I would consider myself a Madisonian, Jeffersonian, limited government classical liberal.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I hope they continue to let me serve them as their voice for more freedom and less government.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
We need to increase funding for law enforcement to address the spike in crime and lawlessness.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
It should be illegal to commit a crime with a gun - that is about it.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
A gun is just a tool like any other.
