18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am fully convinced that the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God. We learn of God's creation of the world, man, and all living things. We learn of man's decision to sin. We learn of God's plan to provide redemption for man. God has extended his grace to all mankind in sending his son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. Man is a free moral agent. God does not force a person to obey him, but commands all men everywhere to repent. Man must believe that Jesus is the Christ, confess the name of Christ, repent from his sins, and be baptized in water for the remission of his sins. All men will someday stand before the judgment seat of Christ and we will answer for how we have lived.
