At the time only morally upstanding men were allowed to vote so they were the only ones with any say in how things were done. Men have a history of not handling power very well

I once thought our debt which will bring down our country was our largest problem. I now believe the fact we have turned our back on God and our responsibility to look after the best interest of our fellow man is number one.I still believe we were founded to be the shining city on the hill and should be working toward that goal. I believe our elected leaders are responsibly for our budget problems and could solve them by taking a 20% pay cut for themselves and have the rest of the government follow suit,thus giving us a balanced budget as a starter toward reduced government.I believe we need the government out of our pocket,schools and churches.
