Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Life is sacred from conception. My wife and I have a family of six girls and our three year old son. Once someone sees the ultra sound, even very early in pregnancy, there is no doubt this is a little innocent person. We must protect all innocent lives, including those that have not been born. It surprises me that to some, when the preborn is wanted, it is a child and when it is unwanted, it is a lump of flesh.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Our Country's founders were very concerned with people who are attracted to power. They were concerned that power often corrupts people and/or corrupt people are attracted to power. So the Constitution was designed to limit the power of the government through a series of checks and balances and specific duties of the Federal Government. Thus limiting the Federal Government's power and reserving the powers and duties not spelled out in the Constitution to the states and the people.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian. I am saved because of my belief in Jesus Christ, our Savior. I pray and read from the bible daily. My family and I are regular church goers. I believe that we have a duty to do our best to live out in real life the teachings of our faith. That we should love our God with our whole heart and that we should treat others as we would like to be treated, with kindness, caring, fairness and honesty.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
My record in the State Senate is one of a proven consistent conservative in each area that one considers as either conservative or liberal. In the five and a half years I have served the people of Wisconsin in the Senate I have a 100 percent rating with the American Conservative Union. I am the only State Senator that has earned this 100 percent lifetime rating. I have a lifetime 100 percent voting record with Wisconsin Right to Life and pull in this direction with my fellow Senators. I have a lifetime 100 percent voting record with the National Rifle Association.

Additional comment from candidate:
Our Nation is facing a critical time. We have out of control spending in Washington DC. We have a national debt of $19 trillion and growing. We are overspending every year and there aren't many Congressmen that are focused on reigning this in, I am. We have a bureaucracy that is putting more and more regulations on our people and businesses. The new rules proposed by the EPA will require closing of all coal fired power plants, causing our electric rates to double or triple, causing job losses here and more jobs in other countries. I will stop this over regulation. We have a porous southern border with too many illegals here. We need to strengthen our border and dry up public benefits these illegal aliens access. We need to replace our illegal labor system with a state based foreign workers permit that requires insurance, ID and taxes. We need to defeat ISIS by drying up their ability to export oil through Turkey, that finances their war and pays for their soldiers.
