B.S. Western Michigan University. I am a Sunday school teacher and member of the childrens ministries at First Church of God in St. Joseph, MI. Member of St. Joseph Benton Harbor Rotary Club, started a mentoring program in Benton Harbor in 1996, where I still serve as a mentor in the Benton Harbor Area Schools. I have been trustee of the Lakeshore Public Schools Foundation, trustee of the Heritage Society Museum of History, board member of Cornerstone Alliance, the local economic development group, and other area organizations. I served as a Lincoln Township Trustee from 2000-2008, Secretary of the Southwest Michigan Water and Sewer Authority from 2003-2010, and am currently 79th District State Representative.

First Church of God, St. Joseph. Executive Committee of the Berrien County Republican Party since 1999. Lake Michigan College Educational Foundation, volunteer for Blossomtime Festival. Member of Berrien County Human Services Collaborative, Southest Michigan United Way.
