1. Economic policy—increasing economic freedom, eliminating cronyism, reducing spending. Both Republicans & Democrats are complicit in growing government. Ed Gillespie is a big-government Repub and G.W. Bush acolyte who bragged as RNC chair that the GOP no longer stood for limited government. Mark Warner is a big-government Dem who voted for every increase in spending and against every effort to rein in surveillance; he shares responsibility for growing public debt from $11tr in Jan 2009 to $17tr today. 2. Legislative delegation. Bureaucratic rule-making is out of control and contrary to the Constitution. Bureaucratic rules over private behavior should require proper passage before having the force of law. 3. Civil Liberties. The government is surveilling innocent citizens, the police are militarized, the laws are multitudinous and mutable, the courts are too deferential. End the Drug War. Stop mass surveillance. Demilitarize the police. Stop asset forfeiture abuse. Etc. Etc. Etc
