OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Agree

The proper role of Government is to protect individuals from force and fraud. The government should not be distributing money to any organizations.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

This is not something the Federal government should be involved in. No laws either supporting it or hindering it.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

No longer a Federal issue. That is for the people of the states to decide.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Disagree

The Federal government should not be collecting any more money than necessary to fulfill its constitutional requirements. It should not be distributing money to anyone.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Neutral

The government should cut spending, period.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Repeal the Federal Income tax. Restore original constitutional provision that all Federal Revenue is provided by the states based on the Census

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Neutral

Statement is too vague to answer. The only role of government is to protect individuals from force and fraud.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

The role of government is to protect individuals, not force behavior.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I would not support the Federal Government ever requiring vaccinations, but I can see where a case can be made as an immigration requirement.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

D- The federal government should not have any role in Health care or health insurance.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

D- As Jefferson summed up Washington's belief; "peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations—entangling alliances with none."

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

I support the right of every individual to use peaceful means of persuasion, to bring others to their own personal cause. For the position of the federal government, see above.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

China is an economic threat in that they have been bankrolling the out of control spending of the US and we are now in debt to them to the point of almost $1 Trillion dollars. The US must reduce spending and live within its means.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Remove overseas troops, end drone strikes. Repeal all Authorizations to Use Force.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Disagree

Remove border wall where it exists. Open all borders to the free movement of goods and individuals.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Neutral

Federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, period.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone for any reason. America was built and has prospered on immigration.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Neutral

All individuals are equal before the law. All rights are inherent in the individual. All individual rights must be protected and respected. I do not believe in protected classes.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Neutral

The Federal Government should have no role in education, either public or private.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

All individuals are equal before the law. All rights are inherent in the individual. All inherent rights must be protected and respected.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Agree

But that is up to the individual states to decide, not congress.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would propose no laws. The Federal Government has no authority over elections. They are the sole purview of the states.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

Nothing should be given to any group. We are a nation of individuals and must be respected as such.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Politicians who use issues race to suit their own purposes are a threat to domestic security. People are individuals and must be respected as such.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Neutral

Personally I do, but this is not a proper role for the Federal Government. Resource management should fall under the authority of the states. All Federal Lands should be sold that do not fulfill an constitutional duty.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Neither. The Federal Government has no constitutional authority. Environmental laws fall under state authority.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Libertarian.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

While it may feel informative to read questionnaires such as this, ultimately it does not matter. Whoever ends up winning this race will have no opportunity to have a role in the process of making laws. The US House has devolved into an Oligarchy. A very limited few hold all the power. Everyone else, regardless if they are in the majority or the minority are just window dressing to make the whole affair look legitimate. If you are in the minority party you will have zero role in any part of the process. If you are in the majority, you will not have enough seniority to get a seat at the table and your input will be ignored by the powers that be. The only role you have on the sidelines is straight out of "V for Vendetta" Take to TV and Twitter and let every man, woman and child know how close society is to chaos. Remind them all why they need us! The US House is the first section of the first article of the constitution, and arguably was thought of as the most important. People from all over the country and all walks of life coming together and truly representing the country. That was then. Now members outside of the speaker's circle can't introduce legislation or make amendments without the speaker's permission. The wording and outcome of all bills are determined ahead of time and presented for a yes vote by the majority and a no vote by the minority. If you don't do as expected, you will be out. Less than 20% of Americans trust that Congress will do what is right most of the time. The vast majority of voters know that candidates running for office are just blowing smoke and won't live up to what they say once they are in office. This leads to hate voting. "I'm only voting for this person, so that this other person doesn't win." This attitude creeps into our every day lives. Many people can't even be around people they know don't agree with them. The Democrats and Republicans keep feeding this attitude for their own purposes and benefit. We deserve so much better! The only way to move past this is to stop playing their games. Reject the Democrats and Republicans and vote Libertarian. The only party that truly respects you as an individual and not as a pawn to be used on a road to power.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Disagree

No one is ever above the law. Government officials should be held to the very highest standard. Not the lowest.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Neutral

The Federal Government should have no role in funding local police departments.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Right to bear arms Shall Not be infringed.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Disagree

They should be able to sue for any injury resulting from a manufacturing defect.
