I have a reverence for life and believe that one's medical decisions should be left to patient and doctors. I believe that life begins at conception.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
When medically indicated and this decision should be left to the woman and her doctor. The government does not belong in this situation.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

There are three ways to reduce the National debt: increase revenue, decrease spending or grow the economy. I prefer to grow the economy. Adjustments should be made carefully. Our National Debt is now $39Trillion. The interest payment on the National Debt is now the largest expenditure in the Federal Budget surpassing even the Defense budget. Further we can not count on the data we are receiving from Federal Agencies. The voters need reliable data to make good decisions.

DOGE was a good start. Government agencies should securely share data between agencies. Fraud should be vigorously investigated and prosecuted. Use of automation implemented. Bureauacracies are slow to act, as it should be in many cases. Adjustments to revenues and spending should be made carefully.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C. Medicaid and Medicare are good programs. They should be audited, and implementation at the lower levels is sometime ridiculously unreasonable! We need a fraud-free program to care for our disabled and elderly.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
None of the above: America's foreign policy has been to protect national security interests. I agree with this foreign policy. National security interest can be threats to National physical or economic security.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

We should dis-entangle ourselves from Israel as much as possible. Their current leadership is hell-bent on violence and should be prosecuted for war crimes.
Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
That is a difficult question to answer: persons who wish to immigrate or visit the US should follow existing laws. We should welcome legal tourists, persons having skills which are in high demand. We should know if persons immigrating to the US have any serious communicable diseases.
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

The states need to pick up the funding that the US DOE previously provided, about 6% of the education for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Otherwise the quality of education in states will decline. We need to keep our people educated; it benifits us all.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Those types of medical decisions should be left to the child when they become 18, in my opinion.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

When I ran for Congress in Virginia, I took the position that marriage is between one man and one woman although at one retirement home presentation a little woman in the back advocated for marriage to be between one woman and two men! ?? -- true story. I advised that were I to be elected I would support the voter's decision as that question was on the ballot. They allowed same sex marriage. I was not elected.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the true Son of the Living God. I have a conversation with him everynight and every morning I try to follow His teaching as I know them from the Bible.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

We have to provide Photo ID to write a check to check into a hotel. I see no reason why voters should not provide a photo ID.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
