America's founders were concerned that mankind's tendency is to allow a dictatorship. Separating the powers would counteract this tendency.

After 33 years of naval service, both active and reserve, I retired in 2008 as a Master Chief Petty Officer. I have degrees in Business (AS), Industrial Technology (BS), and Management (MA). I am a small business owner in Colorado, running a logging and forest management company. I successfully operated CAB Enterprises from 1987 thru 1997, when I was recalled to active duty USN. During this period, I also worked with fellow independent contractors, business groups, state representatives, and state senators to clarify the Colorado Laws concerning independent contractors.
