QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
I believe that life begins at conception. I believe that it needs to be protected. I also believe that if a woman has an abortion, they are still loved by God, and there is a long road to emotional and spiritual healing, and the church can show truth in love, and help in the healing process.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
The school should direct a student to their parents. The school is only that, a school and does not replace the family.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I believe public education is important, but must be held accountable, and be transparent. Our schools must teach the fundamentals of learning- reading, writing, math, science and social studies. I also believe our schools should teach financial literacy, and bring back cursive. We need science based literacy with explicit phonics instruction and decoding. I do not think the gov't should fund college. Pursuits beyond 12th should be left to the individual.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
This is not the place for these services. The school never replaces the family , and should never operate as such.
Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?
Yes
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Agree
I think you have to tell the whole story, the good, the bad, the ugly in an age appropriate manner. Patriotism is essential to American life, and one of the most important aspects about American is life, is to understand in history when there has been good, and harm, and people were treated in terrible inhumane ways. We must tell all sides, not just one. All of us are American and human, and must understand that we can move forward wisely and well, and grow from knowing all parts of history.
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Disagree
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?
Equality of opportunities
Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.
A- Opt in if they want the school to teach their child CSE
2ND AMENDMENT
Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.
Choose not to answer
I think if faculty is going to be able to carry a gun for an active shooter situation, there needs to be in depth specialized training for an active shooter situation, and more than just a regular carry license. If they are going to bring it onto school property, they would need to go through some of the exact training that law enforcement goes through. Bringing a gun on campus should never be taken lightly. There would also need to be some type of special registration.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.
Strongly Disagree

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Lean Conservative
I never really label my views, I just use wisdom and common sense when I'm looking at something.
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I'm a practicing christian. My husband and I raise our children in church, and share our faith with our kids. I have done missions work, and my husband serves by coaching, and we serve by supporting our local public school.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
I think it is best for parents to teach sexual education their children. Parents know what timing is best for each kid, depending on their personality and knowing how they learn. For one child it could be age 10, for another it could be sooner or later.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
How men and women are designed, how men get women pregnant, and what happens scientifically; growth of a baby in the mother's womb from conception to birth; abstinence, consent
Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.
Strongly Agree
Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.
Agree
Biblical Marriage is God's design. There are legal marriages now that are legal, but not religious. As a school board member, I will respect and treat all families well. I will fight for all students to get a strong education whatever their family looks like. Some families are man and woman, and some families have same sex parents, single parents, no parents and are raised by family, friends, or guardians- no matter what , I will fight for the education!
Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.
Strongly Agree
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.

EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
