QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Choose not to answer
While it is a scientific fact that a unique human life is created at the moment of conception, I am a school board candidate, and the issue of legal protection of life is a matter for the states and their representatives.
What role should the school serve in helping a student with an unwanted or crisis pregnancy?
Complete transparency. The school should immediately notify the family of any student who is pregnant, and allow the student and her family to handle the issue.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Teachers should be required to instruct students on mandated curriculum even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under no circumstances should speech ever be compelled.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
A peaceful society requires the acknowledgement of private property. As Thomas Jefferson said: "He who is permitted by law to have no property of his own can with difficulty conceive that property is founded in anything but force."
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I believe that the public should fund schooling, and that each citizen should be able to choose which institutions they fund, so that their agency and role in a democratic republic will not be removed from them.
EDUCATION
Abortion and gender-affirming providers, including Planned Parenthood, should be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Disagree
Non-academic activist organizations have no place providing biased services or resources to students when their parents have not consented to the presence of those organizations around their children.
Consistent discipline creates a safe and orderly environment, which is essential for student learning.
Strongly Agree
Students must understand that coercion, manipulation, and bullying will not be tolerated in schools, regardless of their beliefs.
Do you believe print and digital material available or presented to students should be easily accessible for public review, including those without children enrolled in school?
Yes
I believe that anyone who is monetarily supporting a school district has a right to know exactly how their support is being utilized, and exactly what is being provided to the students in that district. All details and material for all education must be provided to and signed by parents before instruction of students on any of those topics proceeds. This must be provided without request.
Educators should give students a thorough education in America's founding documents and cultivate American patriotism.
Strongly Agree
Students should have a robust understanding of the history of the country in which they live.
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Strongly Disagree
The phrase "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" is used in a variety of ways, by a number of people. I do not support the radical political initiative that bears the title of "DEI" which prioritizes superficial qualities over substantial character.
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
I believe that if parents are passionate about being involved in their children's education, and are willing to put in the necessary and hard work, then their efforts will withstand the actions of the Department of Education.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): American History, Art & Music, Civics, Critical Race Theory, Foreign Language, Gender Identity, Information Technology, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Finances, Physical Fitness, Political Activism, Science, Sexuality, Social Emotional Learning, Vocational Learning

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Furthermore, I want the public school institutions to provide such quality education that they are the common sense school of choice to which parents should send their children.
Which should students have: equity of outcomes or equality of opportunities?
All students should have equality of opportunity, and all students should be provided with such a plethora of opportunities that any variation in outcome is due solely to their own personal choices. No child should be left behind, neither should any child be brought along against their own will, displayed in the outcome of testing and grading within the classroom.
Which type of written parental consent should be obtained before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE)? (A) Opt-In. (B) Opt-Out. (C) None.
(A) Parents must retain the right to consent regarding the specifics of their children's education.
2ND AMENDMENT
Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.
Choose not to answer
I believe that this is a question which should be answered by voters and parents in a school district.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
In the event of a pandemic, school districts can mandate whatever health precautions they deem necessary (including masks and vaccines) to protect students and staff.
Strongly Disagree
I believe that parents retain the fundamental authority to choose which precautions their children take, and that they should not be penalized in any way regardless of their choice.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
I voted in these primaries and general elections:
2014 General Election 2016 General Election 2018 General Election 2020 General Election 2022 General Election
I have voted in various primaries as the candidates displayed their specific value, but I am choosing not to recount which of those primaries had my vote, nor those for whom I voted.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I believe that the principles outlined at the founding of the United States must be conserved, and that among them is the inalienable right to liberty, along with life, and the pursuit of happiness.
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
The United States were founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and have inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I believe that it is the inalienable right of each individual to make their own decisions, and of each family to govern the education and raising of their children. I also believe it is the exclusive right of parents to instill morals and values in their children, and that the job of all schools and educators is to provide academic instruction for the future livelihood of each student.
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
Parents are ultimately responsible for the education of their children, and have the right to decide which subjects their children are exposed to, and at what age.
If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- abortion methods and side effects; abstinence; consent; contraceptive methods; human anatomy/the reproductive system; physical and emotional health outcomes; sex acts and pleasures of sex; sexual orientation and gender identity; stages of pregnancy and fetal development
I support the personal selection of content in all areas of education by the parents of each student, and I believe that no student should be taught without the prior explicit consent of their parents.
Children have a right to reach maturity without chemical or surgical castration, which would damage their healthy bodies through surgeries and may cause a life-long dependence on cross-sex hormones.
Strongly Agree
Parents have a right to be fully provided with information on the consequences of these procedures, and to make the final decision on what course their children take in these areas; children are below the age of consent and cannot opt-in to medical procedures.
Children have the right to be protected from sexual grooming (including drag shows and explicit materials) in schools and libraries.
Strongly Agree
Children should not be exposed to sexual content, especially without the full knowledge and direct, informed consent of their parents.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman essential to the formation and sustaining of a civil and prosperous society.
Strongly Agree
It is not the business of governmental bodies to involve themselves in the private lives of citizens; this includes which ceremonies those citizens choose to acknowledge, officiate, or celebrate.
Parents have the fundamental right to raise their child in accordance with their beliefs and values, including the right to make decisions about the child's education and healthcare.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have full and timely access to any and all records, including school and medical records, associated with their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Parents should be provided with this information prior to and regardless of their consent or request.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Agree
As a school board candidate, I encourage all eligible citizens to vote, and I would like to ensure that each vote is secure and legal.
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
