All of the land border entries and all other entry points to the United States must be secure, and complete background checks must be made for any person entering our country, whether on a tourist, student or work visa.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Alabama has billions of dollars in reserves. Our tax revenues are very strong. It is time to significantly cut the state tax burden of our citizens. I support lncome tax reductions through credits, rebates, and low flat taxes on income.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We need to reduce entitlements and incentivize getting people back into the workforce. Reduce or eliminate programs that do not effectively benefit the daily lives of our citizens and families. Rein in education spending that does not allow parent choice and achieve quantifiable results.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Immigration to the United States must only take place through INS in a thoroughly vetted manner, Those desiring to immigrate must remain in their home countries. Anyone who has illegally entered the United States must return to their home. No illegal immigrants should be permitted any type of legal status and must not receive any tax payer funded benefits other than emergency medical care for life sustaining reasons.

The general purposes of government include maintenance of public safety, providing public services, providing national protection and making national economic decisions. The Constitution of the United States clearly outlines and defines the purpose of our government. The Preamble is specific in its original language - "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." The Constitution and the Bill of Rights clearly define our government, and it must be no more or no less than that,

I became a born again Christian at a young age. My wife Kelly, our children and their spouses are born again Christians and members of evangelical churches. Kelly and I are active members and worship at the Meadow Brook Baptist Church in our neighborhood, As recorded in God's inerrant word, Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and no one is saved and enters into Heaven except by repenting of one's sins and accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not by our own efforts. It is faith alone and grace alone!

Ballot harvesting, drop boxes and mass mail balloting should be banned. Neither government or private funding should ever be allowed to influence or interfere with the administration of any elections. Only legal citizens of the United States should have voting rights any election and held anywhere in the United States.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes. Violent racism wherever it is found is wrong and must not be allowed under any circumstance. We must judge a person on the basis of character and integrity, not the color of one's skin or ethnicity; Dr. King was correct in this assessment. I oppose all aspects of Critical Race Theory and Environmental, Social and Governance or any other such programs or beliefs.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
