To encourage workers to retire early and enable more youth to find great jobs, I would lower the eligibility age to 55. From the ages of 55 to 75, seniors would receive a UBI of $2,000 a month. Upon reaching 75, seniors would enroll in the traditional SSI program. Likewise, Medicare benefits would extend to seniors aged 55 and up whom choose to leave the workforce and when they choose to leave the workforce.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The previous administration believed that we can achieve peace through strength. Our military budget exceeds $750 billion. The Chinese are spending $210 billion and the Russians are spending $65 billion. I believe we can reduce defense spending by $250 billion. Let's start there, then we can look at some of our other spending.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
The entire higher education system became a scam upon students and parents. When someone applies for university, the school evaluates how much money they can extract from the family. Prices are adjusted to enable all students to enter. The school then puts the burden on the government without regard to the students' ability pay back this loan. If the school guaranteed employment, I would feel differently, since the don't, I think we need to start from ground zero and eliminate all student debt.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The constitution is clear, the government shall make no laws limiting religious belief or practices. People often suggest that we should limit the tax status or demand that religious groups conform to current fashionable societal trends. For me, that is government overreach because many religious groups are integral to the health and well-being of our communities. They provide charity services and mental health services. America was founded by groups of religious people fleeing European state religious persecution. If we become just as intolerant of religious expression as these former states were, then where will people go for religious freedom. If that is our choice, then tear down the statute of liberty in New York.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Right now, I am enrolled in the affordable care act. This act provides me with catastrophic coverage but no normal healthcare. Given that reality, nearly 30-40 million working Americans are without healthcare coverage; yet, they pay into Medicare and Medicaid through payroll deductions. To support small businesses and the American worker, I propose that we extend Medicaid to every unemployed American within 30 days of separation. To reduce the pain of health insurance premiums, I propose that we provide every small business with 25 or less employees the right to enroll their employees in Medicare. For larger organizations, we would phase out enrollment ability up to 99 employees. Additionally, I would eliminate the payroll tax burden on employees and employers for these taxes as well as state contributions toward Medicaid/Medicare. To pay for this change, I propose a National VAT tax on consumable products (not rent or food) of 10%.This way everybody pays and nearly everybody benefits

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
We should encourage our allies to stop funding radical Islamic terrorism. We should limit people associated with terrorism from entering our country by all means necessary. Finally, we need to stop the money flow into agencies sympathetic to terrorism.
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Having worked abroad, I support placing restrictions on legal immigrants that require certain educational qualifications and/or skills. Countries like Australia have used these to improve the economic environment in their nation. I also support a closure of our border to all undocumented workers. Further, I propose that we limit asylum seeking to people from nations where there are documented hostilities by providing ICE with a specific list of approved national origins and/or specific groups. Whereas life is difficult for many people in Central and South America nearly all of these nations do not warrant asylum seeking.

In the main, I am a secular individual. I believe each person is at liberty to decide which faith he or she chooses. I do not believe that there is nothing after death and choose to live my life with meaning and an inner-sense of responsibility. Judeo-Christian values provide all of us with a great benchmark and I see no reason to live my life otherwise. I find the current wave of anti-Christian behavior to be self-defeating and immoral. I believe the constitution protects the right to worship one's beliefs without government interference within the constraints of law. I do not support setting up mini-theocracies within the US to replace our court systems.

Our nation is deeply divided because of political polarization and media interference. I'm not sure who is worse, those who believe in their self-righteousness as "Never Trumpers" or those who refuse to recognize that the world has moved on from 1776. I believe that the core engine for America are small business owners and the American worker. They are the ones generating money velocity and tax revenues. We need to provide them with financial relief by eliminating onerous taxes on them, not big business. The corporations moved their operations overseas and they expect small businesses to compete with their slave labor. That has to stop, it is one thing to say that a country like Brazil has an economic advantage because they grow oranges in our winter. It is another thing to say that a country like China, India and many others can exploit their citizens for economic gain. Free trade is only free if there is equality among nations. Putting American workers first, is putting America first

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1st, we need a climate emergency act to enable Governors to declare a 10-day emergency and allow them to produce any kind of energy or power for the duration of the crisis. 2nd, I would propose an increase of the minimum wage to $10 and $5 for restaurant serving staff. In conjunction with the minimum wage increase, I would propose amendments to our existing Medicare and Medicaid programs to reduce the economic burdens on small businesses. Finally, I would propose additional tariffs on Chinese made goods to punish the Chinese government for engaging in slavery, forced sterilization, and other crimes against humanity.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes it is. At least those that continue to promote the false idea that systemic racism exists in America and unless we promote minority interests we can never become equal. We cannot achieve equality by viewing every action and reaction through a racial lens. The public promotion of CRT is an anathema to everything our constitution stands for and needs to end. The idea that America was founded as slave holding nation lacks credibility. My forefathers came from the North and fought to end slavery so the idea of slave holding never existed in my family and those of most people I know. We began the legal end of discrimination with the civil rights act and now we are moving toward full integration of all races and colors in America. If we want to end any domestic threat of racism, we need to start acting like all voices matter, not just those that are woke.
