Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

School districts should be able to use taxpayer money for lobbying the state legislature.

Strongly Disagree

Students should not be allowed to pray in school.

What is the function of the local school board?

One of the roles of a school board member is to set policy. Currently, the school board sets the policy regarding the rights or privileges an employee organization has within the district. There are 7 committees that board members can join. Work with the yearly budget which affects health care and teacher pay.

Who should have the authority to set curriculum and determine resources used in those curricula?

Encourage Decision-Making That Includes Taxpayers And Teachers. Too many times the voices of the staff, students, and community have not been heard. Our voices matter and we should have that voice to be included in the decision making for our Districts and schools. I believe that Board members should have the authority to vote on the curriculum but have input from teachers and other local leaders from the State. Federal Government should not be involved.

Please rate in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): Mathematics, Information Technology, Science, Political Activism, Personal Finances, Gender Identity, Physical Fitness, American History, Critical Race Theory, Language Arts, Art & Music, Vocational Learning, Sexuality, Foreign Language, Social Emotional Learning

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Why are you running for this office?

I am an educator, not a politician.I am a former employee of Northside Independent School District, where I worked with elementary grade level students. My passion has always been education. I believe and know all children can have the future they want and I teach to make sure they can have those opportunities. As residents of District 5, we all have a strong commitment to our community including our schools. I know that many parents feel that once they drop off their children at school their involvement in their children’s education ends. I’m convinced it's time for all of us to work together and let your voice be heard. The way our district can be even more successful is if everyone's voice is heard.

A candidate's personal moral values should not be relevant when considering a candidacy for elective office.

Which of the 11 objectives specified in the Texas Education Code is your highest priority?

OBJECTIVE 5: Educators will prepare students to be thoughtful, active citizens who have an appreciation for the basic values of our state and national heritage and who can understand and productively function in a free enterprise society. OBJECTIVE 1: Parents will be full partners with educators in the education of their children.

What books have had the most profound impact on your view of life?

Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by Doris Kearns Goodwin Giants: The Parallel Lives of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln by John Stauffer

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

A dedicated and innovative communicator with a wealth of experience as a middle school/high school special education IA, educator, middle school interventionist, Algebra Teacher, Site Coordinator, Basketball Head Coach and Athletic Director. Current Digital Director for TenX Media. Former Co-Founder and Director of Workforce Development of A&E Consulting, I have extensive experience working with persons from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. I am a proven communicator and problem solver, and have success working with local government, adults and students, effectively communicating and problem solving with excellent results.

Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

I am from Poland and my family experienced life under the Soviet Union. Here's a simple question. Name me a country where government is micromanaging its people the situation is better?

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Students Come Before Politics All of us want to see our community flourish. Your voice will always matter because as a member of the NISD Board of Trustees in District 5 I will make every effort to work for you. Together we can restore education to be the best it can be for our students. ? We see education evolving often without any involvement of faculty, students, and citizens. We should welcome participation of all interested in the process. It is important that students are getting the quality education they truly deserve. However in recent years I have witnessed that those who are the most interested in education - teachers and students have less chance of being involved. It's time for everyone to stand up for the future of children.

2nd Amendment
