Why are you running for this office?
Teachers and students need a strong advocate that understands the system, laws, parameters of public education. I had training before I ran for my first term and have in the last 4 years put in over 300 hours of continuing education to become the best Trustee for HEB ISD I can be. I graduated from Leadership TASB in 2020 as a Master Trustee in the State of Texas.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am a graduate of the HEB ISD Board Ambassador program which teaches parents and community members the inside of the district. I am also a graduate of the HEB ISD Leadership Academy which prepares potential candidates for serving in this district. After completing both of these programs and the opportunity of an open seat on the Board arose in 2017, I took the opportunity to run and serve. I am also a graduate of Leadership TASB. It is a very competitive application process. TASB only chooses 36 Trustees in the State of Texas each year. I am now a Master Trustee! I also now have over 300 hours of continuing education from conferences and webinars. I never stop learning and applying those experiences to what is best for students and teachers. I have 4 years of HEB ISD Board services under my belt. I am very qualified to continue serving in Place 4.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
