Christian with Christian values.
Why are you running for this office?
I want to serve on the DSISD school board because I believe that education is top priority for our students and not social issues. Equal education should be provided to all students and educating our students should be the focus of our school system. I also believe that fiscal responsibility and transparency of school board decisions is very important. Parents and members of our community should be aware and involved in what decisions are made that could impact them. Spending needs to be controlled so that taxpayers do not have such a large tax burden. Many of our community are retired and it can be difficult for them when taxes are out of control.
A candidate's personal moral values should not be relevant when considering a candidacy for elective office.

I have observed the increase in the school system from the time my son entered kindergarten until he graduated from Dripping Springs High School making me familiar with the system and the needs of the schools and community.
