Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes. Recently, in our country, we have had both peaceful and violent demonstrations. Today, racism is at the very core of many our country's problems. Without facing the "root" cause and effect of this issue, our country becomes weaker, therefore, diminishing our national security, and the overall safety and lives of all our citizens.
