Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am an adoptee, placed for adoption at birth by a young mother. I am pro-life, I believe life begins at conception. I believe every life has rights. I believe every life is a blessing. I personally do not believe there is a valid reason for abortion. However, I can concede two situations that a woman may face that cause me to dig deep within my soul for answers that I can be at peace with.
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The impact of the pandemic on the Kansas economy and our businesses has been devastating. The state will be short the revenue to cover our expenses. We need to maintain funding for core services, but we cannot balance the budget by increasing the tax burden. The budget must be thoroughly examined, efficiencies found, and targeted cuts be made.
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Exactly what it states. No government involvement in our religious institutions or parochial schools.
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Healthcare reform is imperative. Many of us pay high premiums, with subpar coverage. Many Kansans have no coverage at all. We need balance between high-quality care, quality coverage, and lower out of pocket expenses. A competitive marketplace will drive prices down and quality of care up. Healthcare reform is a top priority for me.
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Any person who wants to come here legally should be welcomed. We're an amazing country full of promise and opportunity however we have laws and rules regarding the immigration process.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My family and I are practicing Catholics and our children attend catholic schools. Catholicism is rooted in tradition and promotes loving all, giving all and protecting all. We are humble, we are helpful. We protect the most vulnerable, the poor and the weak. We know we aren’t perfect and strive to be better. We value love and family, we value community and acceptance even with all of our flaws. We are fearful but confident in the Holy Spirit, we believe there are no mistakes and we are created as God intended.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I respect our American traditions and believe in our constitution. We need to protect religion, right to bear arms, health freedoms. We need smaller government and less taxes. We must support our military and law enforcement. We must also practice what our Declaration of Independence states, that all men (and women) are created equal, they are endowed by their Creator and the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am not a politician; my motive is simple – to represent the values of my district which I have lived in for nearly 35 years. My career as a Realtor and property manager has giving me the opportunity to work with thousands of people from all different demographics, income levels, religious backgrounds, and all stages of life. I've listened to their concerns for nearly 20 years regarding taxes, property values, quality of living, area development, school districts, safety, healthcare etc. I am surrounded by supporters from across party lines because I’m reasonable and fair. My life is about finding solutions and meeting in the middle. I listen to all sides, communicate, and find ways to get things done. I have worked in volatile situations many times over the years in a professional, personal and volunteer setting achieving positive results.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

I will go to Topeka to represent all Kansans values. I love Kansas, I loved growing up here, I love living here, and I love raising my children here. Kansas is amazing and while some change is needed, I don't want our amazing state drastically pivotoed into a place we don't recognize.
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I’m a mother of 3, the daughter-in-law of a former law enforcement officer and a gun owner. Protection and safety are my number one priority, especially in this violate climate. We all want safe and responsible gun ownership and we must tread lightly to not infringe on our Second Amendment rights. Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Rasicm is wrong and has no place in our country. As human beings we have a responsibility to promote inclusivity, equal treatment and equal opportunities to everyone. We have made great strides over the last 50 years and we all still have work to do. Riots are a threat to our domestic security, our communities and businesses are suffering. Everyone of us has the right to protest, no one has the right to riot. Peaceful protests, messages and causes are being drowned out by violent groups. We need dialogue, open minds, and positive action from all sides.
