Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

(Did not answer)

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We need to simplify the relationship of the individual contributor to Social Security to when that person is a recipient. We need to eliminate borrowing or spending of Social Security money that is not related to retirees. We need to be sure that employees at all levels of income contribute at the same percentage levels for income earned.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

(Did not answer)

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

We need to find systemic ways to lowering the cost of a college education before we get to the onerous loans that stifle the growth of recent graduates and young families. Current student loan debt needs to become a national discussion that is resolved by the American people.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

(Did not answer)

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

(Did not answer)

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

(Did not answer)

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

We need to develop a healthcare system that is simple and provides access to all U.S. residents. We need to focus on preventative care that will reduce the cost of providing wider coverage. We must stabilize and equalize the costs of procedures, medical devices, services, and prescriptions. This will also bring down the cost of healthcare. By providing greater access, we reduce the need and expenses for government funded emergency care. This step again will make healthcare cost more affordable.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

The U.S. needs to make a greater commitment to ending racial antagonism and discrimination. We need to create an environment where divergent dialog can be had without animosity and vitriol. Our spiritual values provide us with a bases and pathway to creating a more harmonious society and world. It is only our willpower that blocks us.
