Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

If the only choice is the life of the mother or the life of the unborn child, I support a family's ability to make the decision. However, such a scenario is all but unheard of in modern medical practice and while an infant may be lost in the process of saving the mother, killing the infant is never the goal or purpose of such medical procedures.

Economy

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

This is a problem with no simple answers. As things stand, my generation will not see the Social Security which we have paid into and funded. First, we need to remove all proposals of using social security funds for purposes other than social security. Our hard-earned money must be protected from an inefficient and irresponsible government which frequently overspends. Next, we should downsize entitlement programs, balance our national budget, and ensure that social security funding is a priority for those who have paid into the system. Lastly, we should entirely redesign and restructure social security as it is an inherently flawed and unstable system.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Most governmental agencies are bloated, inefficient, and could be improved financially speaking. Entitlement programs such as Welfare must be restricted and downsized so that able-bodied individuals are not collecting tax dollars.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

If an individual has given their time and effort in a public service (such as firefighters, military, and first responders) that individual should qualify for education benefits. Students enter into a legally binding contract when they choose to utilize student loans. I, myself, am still paying off my student loan debt. The standard here is simple; if you borrow money, pay it back.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state is an idea shared in a private letter written by Jefferson. This idea is not explicitly contained in the US Constitution, however, it does hold merit as an idea and intent of the founders. Separation of church and state means that the US government must never mandate the practice of or adherence to any specific religion (as was the case with the politicization of the Catholic Church in the 1600s). Separation of church and state does NOT mean that our leaders cannot be influenced by their moral and religious beliefs.

Healthcare

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Allow the free-market to offer competition which drives excellence. American healthcare is established as an effective and widely desired system for medical treatment. A single-payer system (such as ObamaCare) removes many rights and inevitably leads to lower quality of healthcare.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Quick and harsh punishment against those who threaten the US and her allies must be executed. I support air and naval strikes on known terrorist organizations, though I believe that our nation building in the mid-east is a waste of blood, money, and time. Radical, hate-filled, and oppressive ideologies such as Sharia Law must never be allowed to have authority in the US. Americans enjoy religious freedom, however, religious freedom does not override our inherent right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Thus, a radicalized ideology which seeks to physically oppress people groups and offers provision for abuse and honor killings can not be protected under religious freedom laws.

Immigration

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Any immigrant with no history of illegal activity, who is willing to contribute to our economy, and who legally enters our land.

Education

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Values

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My worldview centers around the belief that the Bible is true historically, logically, and spiritually. My system of belief can be summarized with the following: I believe the Jesus of the Bible was a historic person, He lived, died, and rose again to prove His deity and offer salvation.

Qualifications

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I believe that the Republican Party has largely sold out, thus, while I am running in a two party system as Republican, I describe myself as a conservative with some libertarian ideas. All views explained in detail on my website, Negron2020.com

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

As a young social and political leader who has spent time in the private sector, public sector through the US Air Force, and academia, I believe that I am uniquely qualified to speak to modern needs and issues concerning jobs, technology, social structure, education, and military life. My goal is to combat rising threats to our freedoms such as socialist policies and corrupt career politicians. I want to unify Americans and remove the divisive and antagonistic attitudes which have become commonplace in modern politics.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The restrictions we already have (namely, background checks on gun purchasers) are sufficient. We do not need mandatory gun registration. We can improve the safety of our schools and public areas by removing gun free zones and by encouraging armed guards to be employed at academic facilities.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Pro-Life legislation, Pro-Term Limit legislation, US Energy Independence Legislation

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Of course. Any ethnic group who claims superiority or threatens violence against other ethnic groups is a threat to our safety and unity.
