I have served the City of Clive, Iowa as a Mayor and Council Member for 17 years. I have a Masters degree in management and have successfully navigated the world of business for 31 years.

That I was born and raised in West Des Moines, Iowa. The youngest of a joint family of 5 boys. I was confirmed and married to my wife Julie at West Des Moines United Methodist Church. We have two adult children and it has been my honor and privilege to have served our community of Clive, Iowa as a Mayor and City Council Member for the last 17 years. I look forward to serving well in the Iowa Senate for the residents and business partners in District 22.

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
