Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I do not believe that there are any scenarios that abortion should be allowed. There are many resources for women and families to create a positive outcome for all with many alternative solutions. I believe that all human life is created equal and by one grand creator who ultimately decides who lives and who perishes.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I believe citizens should have to continue to work and put into the system. Social security was created as a safety net for our most vulnerable citizens protecting them from the hazards of life. SSI provides income security for nearly 60 million people across the country today, including seniors, survivors, people with disabilities, and their families. We must take action so the funds do not run out. Lawmakers must work together in a non partisan way to find solutions. In order to strengthen SSI security for future beneficiaries. Retirement age can be adjusted, lawmakers could slow the growth for a longer life expectancy, adjust to measure the cost of inflation more accurately and possibly increase the amount of income subject to the payroll tax. If we want Social Security to prosper for another 80 years, the time to act is now.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Unfortunately balancing the budget is not going to be an option for awhile given our current circumstances of being in crisis. We must act to save our country and our most precious resources "the people". We can work towards a more balanced budget by reviewing and reducing spending in the future and the waste that can be cut.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

I do not believe that there are any circumstances taxpayers should pay off existing loans. Its a debt that they incurred and should be responsible for.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It was designed so that government cannot control the church/religion. Separation of government and religion.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I believe that Obama care should be repealed, individuals with a pre-existing condition should be protected and prescription drug costs should be under control all through free market solutions. I will go toe to toe with the extreme left in DC who advocate for a single payer or medicaid for all system that requires government takeover of our countries healthcare system. Taxpayers should not pay for the uninsured.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

I believe in a strong military and being better the the status quo. Accountability is paramount and we must negotiate with compassion for the humanitarian issues with a strong foreign policy to ensure the protection and safety of America first. Our christian values should take precedence in decision making and negotiating. We must continue to be tough on terrorism. We must create a strong congress who will not tolerate socialism and the extreme left.

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We must have secure borders in the US. We have always been a welcoming nation and safe harbor. We must know who is going in and out of our borders and we must begin with knowing who is in our country and where. Before we can allow the inflow of illegal citizens we must have a solution for accountability and safety. Vetting the process of those who have been on long waiting lists, should be fast tracked with a new system. Those who seek asylum should have a seperate system that is tiered into the process of receiving assistance and citizenship, in an orderly fashion and only after we have established the guidelines. This would allow their refuge and personal safety. However American citizen must have a priority this includes their safety.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a christian business woman whose faith and belief system are rooted foundationally in the bible. I feel that living my life aligned with God's Will is significantly important. I strive to be approachable providing comfort and reassurance to others. I live my life with humility and discernment with hope that others would be drawn towards my spiritual heart and see me as a source of inspiration.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

As a City Councilor for four years though I was in a position as non partisan representing all citizens. I acted many times showing strong leadership. I provided fiscal accountability as a member of the budget committee and on all items brought before the council. I represent local businesses on all levels both in chamber and in the community, including the legislature. I stood up strongly against sanctuary status when it came to our agenda though I was highly criticized and the press came out against me strongly I did not waver. I was the only member of council who spoke against sanctuary status and stood up for was was right. I refused to waver on immigration issues continuing to be unpopular. I was honored to represent the people in the areas of budget, land use, UGB and controversial matters. I'm proud of the work I accomplished relating to economic development, creating new businesses and jobs. I am experienced with a strong resume, proud of my conservative voting record.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No, I have not been convicted of anything or penalized under any circumstances.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am a business woman who is proud of my 30 years experience working in my community. I was a foster child and understand how critical it is to make a difference and the importance of our children. As a single mother of two boys for 22 years it was my faith and perseverance that allowed me to take the difficult challenges and become victorious. Everything I have been through in my life has been a learning opportunity and has prepared me to be a strong leader for my state. I will be committed to the people while working diligently with compassion for all. I will fight courageously for the people of my state and to always do the right thing. I am passionate about making a difference and in being a different kind of politician. Our state deserves great leadership. I would be honored to be that difference.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I do not believe that there are any gun restrictions needed to protect public safety other then common sense to keep the guns out of the hands of criminals.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Tax reform, Immigration fast track to honor those who are trying to follow the laws and procedures and lowering prescription drug costs returning manufacturing back to the US.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I don't believe that this is an area of concern for our immediate attention with all the other issues to focus on.
