What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
This phrase has been misused more than any other. It is not in the Declaration or the Constitution. How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The cost of healthcare continues to rise. It has gotten to the point where most people can’t afford it unless their employer is covering some of the cost. We must find ways to reduce the cost. Direct primary care is one affordable option that we should promote more. We should also encourage the patient to be aware of costs. Currently, a third party payer is usually covering the cost. There is no accountability for the user to verify costs.
