Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None - no exceptions.

Economy

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

First, let me be clear - benefits for those currently or near receiving Social Security should not be touched. One way to stretch out the life of the program is to increase the retirement age for future generations. We should also look at means testing so that people who really need these programs will receive them. When we fully repeal Obamacare, and put back the $700B that was taken from Medicare to fund Obamacare - that alone will significantly increase the funding of Medicare. Getting government spending in check will allow us to fund such priorities for the longterm.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

The discretionary spending by the federal government must be curtailed but even if it were all cut it still wouldn't balance the budget given the enormous amount of mandatory spending and debt payments.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

None.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means that the state cannot force individuals to violate their conscience or strongly held religious beliefs.

Healthcare

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

First, I believe Obamacare was an overstretch of government power and it's not the government's responsibility to mandate that everyone buy healthcare. We need to eliminate the waste, fraud and abuse in our healthcare systems. We need to lower the cost of drugs, have tort reform so there are not frivolous lawsuit, and stop unnecessary medical procedures. These actions will help to lower the cost of healthcare. We need to fully repeal Obamacare and give Americans access to healthcare of their choice. More competition and the ability to purchase healthcare across state lines will decrease prices and provide better healthcare options for families.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We must conduct intelligence gathering in a manner respectful of personal privacy, but without sacrificing the protection and safety of the American people. Stopping terroristic acts in the planning stage, and preventing such people from entering the country in the first place should be our domestic priority. We must support and enforce the "no entry" ban begun by the Trump administration. If identity verification of individuals seeking immigration status is not possible, then neither should be their entry. We need to continue to enable our military leaders to conduct warfighting actions that are decisive, overwhelming, and targeted to the sources of international terrorism. When left with no other option than war itself, and diplomacy has failed, the safety of the American people must come first.

Immigration

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The U.S. should only allow immigration to those who follow the law to get here legally and who can show that they will not be a burden to the taxpayers.

Education

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Values

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Growing up my family read the Bible every night. I accepted the Lord and was baptized at age 6. Biblical principles guide my life. I am currently a member of Second Baptist Church. The principles of the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in June of 2000 guide my faith.

Qualifications

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

In 2018 I was recognized by Empower Texans as a Conservative Leader at their annual Grassroots Gala. I was awarded the Hanna More Award by Concerned Women for America in 2016 and 2017 for my work with CWA and their 100 No More effort and recruitment for Young Women for America. My financial support as found on the FEC website shows my commitment to conservative candidates. I visited Israel three times.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am prepared to take my conservative principles to Congress to help get DC out of Texas and bring strong Texas values to DC. In this race, I have the most experience and the most proven, consistent track record of fighting for conservative principles and succeeding in advancing the agenda. I am in a crowded field of candidates for this seat and this is a major differentiator between me and my opponents. The grassroots know me and they know I'm a fighter. I am committed to running a full campaign through the November election to fight to keep the Democrats and their liberal, anti-family agenda out of Texas. My campaign is committed to keeping Texas red and fighting for a conservative agenda for all of Texas families and families in America.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. As the recent shooting in North Texas shows, legal firearms ownership helps save lives.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Funding for the border wall, no pay for congressmen unless they pass a budget, and the heartbeat bill.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. The U.S. is not a racist country and has done more to advance equality among people of all races, creeds, and beliefs than any nation in history.
