Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion shouldn't be allowed unless the mother's life is at stake. Not only does abortion kill innocent babies, but it inflicts emotional harm on the mothers for years to come.

Economy

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Spending on Social Security is unsustainable. We must reform the system but cannot disturb the benefits for those already receiving them. We need to review whether the retirement age should be increased (not for those already or near receiving) as well as looking into private options for SS. We need to remove government red tape out of the system.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I'd look at foreign aid; we shouldn't be giving out foreign aid to countries that hate us or use it as a way to buy friends. I'd also look at government programs; I'm tired of politicians promising to cut waste and fraud and not doing it! I also believe it is essential to help those who have fallen on hard times in the employment sector, but believe in providing an incentive for those getting back into the labor force.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

One person should not be responsible for ever paying off someone else's student loan debts. This doesn't teach responsibility to the generations coming after us.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

We've taken prayer out of the schools, and I think this was a huge mistake. Our society now frowns upon a player taking a knee after scoring a touchdown, but celebrates taking a knee and disrespecting our country and all that it stands for. People need to remember what the "separation of church and state" means. It gives us freedom to practice any religion of our choice, but also prevents the government from officially recognizing or favoring any religion. The attitude toward Christians in the public sphere is hostile, forcing our children to grow up in a society that rejects anything related to Christianity.

Healthcare

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I am a capitalist and believe that the answer in many ways is competition, and in this case, I believe the answer is competition among the insurance companies along with Health Savings Accounts. We need to allow Health Insurance companies to compete by allowing them to cross state lines. In too many states, the consumer options are limited to one or two insurance companies. Competition across state lines will lower prices for us all by making them compete against one another. Also, telemedicine is essential to help bring better access to rural communities.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We should talk openly and honestly about the violent elements in Islam itself. Until we have an open and honest discussion about what is being preached in some Mosques, we won't be able to confront Islamic terrorism. Hindus, Christians, and Jews are not carrying out violent acts in the name of their god and religion. We eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism by calling it what it is and punishing those who commit acts of terrorism to the fullest extent possible. Christians and Jews are persecuted all over the world, and WE MUST stand up for them and stop their persecution.

Immigration

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I like Trump's plan which emphasizes entry of highly-skilled workers. We must build the wall to protect our workers and our country. No AMNESTY ever.

Education

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Values

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I'm a Christian, and the way I was raised and the Judeo Christian beliefs I learned as a child going to church with my family have and will continue to guide every decision I make. I believe it is every Christian's responsibility to help spread the gospel to all parts of the world and share the readings.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

no

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe the only restrictions of gun ownership necessary are those outlined in The Gun Control act of 1968.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Physical Border Security Bill, getting proper care for our veterans and controlling our debt-balanced budget initiative.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I think the Democratic Party openly encourages hostility between races in this country by using inflammatory language to divide us. Racism is inexcusable and I never have or will condone it. I have always taught it isn't your race that makes you who you are, but who you are on the inside. Good and evil come in all shapes and colors, and when there is discrimination by any race against another, it must be called out.
