Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

As a country, we must place more value on LIFE. I believe that God creates each life for an individual, unique purpose, and that every life has inherent value. Being pro-life goes beyond politics. It is a foundational, moral position on the side of humanity .Abortion is morally wrong to me. Their are exceptions to this but I would like to know all the excepts before I make such a statement.

Economy

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

(Did not answer)

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

(Did not answer)

Healthcare

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

understand the experience of being a patient in socialized medicine, both in the military and seeing family members using the VA. When no one is held accountable, and there’s no competition, the quality of care suffers and prices skyrocket. We must give states the flexibility to experiment with solutions that deliver the most people’s cheapest and highest quality care. As Americans, we should all agree on this reasonable goal.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

While the threat of radical Islam continues to plague the world, I see China as a more significant threat to global stability. It doesn’t matter how we see China; more critical is how they see us. They already treat us as an adversary to be used, manipulated, and cheated. Politicians and companies that allow the Chinese Communist Party to influence their behavior need to be held accountable for their weakness and greed.

Immigration

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

(Did not answer)

Education

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Values

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I will never let the government force a private citizen or business to actively participate in activities that directly violate their religious beliefs. Period. We are merely protecting the freedom of individuals to abstain from something that violates their religious beliefs

Qualifications

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I pledge myself to the defense of all of your constitutional rights. Today we are beset with those who think you can choose which of your rights you are entitled to and which they can infringe. I believe that ALL of your rights are equally important. Free speech, Privacy, Religious Freedom, and your right to keep and bear arms are all sacred to me.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

(Did not answer)

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I wholeheartedly agree with President Trump’s America First policy. We need a strong modern military dedicated to identifying future threats and being prepared to deal with them. Cyber threats, Industrial Espionage, and Biological warfare are as great of a threat as terrorism have been in the last two decades. National Defense starts with a strong economy. Damage to our economy also damages our National Defense. As the Corona Virus Pandemic has shown us, dependence on the international industry is a threat to our National Defense. I want to incentivize manufacturing in the United States. I want products currently pouring in from China to be built in Louisiana. We can bring better-paying jobs to our State while helping end our dangerous dependence on the international industry.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Neutral

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I will always fight for 2nd Amendment rights. Democrats who don’t understand how guns even work continue to propose frivolous and ineffective gun-control legislation in Congress. We cannot allow the Leftists to set the terms of the gun rights debate in this country. Many states have borderline unconstitutional gun laws. We cannot let this happen in Louisiana. We must do a better job of enforcing current laws, especially background checks so that guns stay out of the wrong hands.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Neutral

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Agree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

(Did not answer)

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

While the threat of radical Islam continues to plague the world, I see China as a more significant threat to global stability. It doesn’t matter how we see China; more critical is how they see us. They already treat us as an adversary to be used, manipulated, and cheated. Politicians and companies that allow the Chinese Communist Party to influence their behavior need to be held accountable for their weakness and greed.
