Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only to save the life of the mother.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Strongly Agree

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Protect all current jobs, improve all levels of education and reform Louisiana's government to foster a more business friendly environment to build and attract new businesses. Part of this process is to reduce the terrible abuse of our legal system by trial lawyers, also reform our insurance industry which will lower rates for our businesses and citizens and create a competitive environment attracting new insurance companies and businesses.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Generally the government should stay out of the way of a free economy as it finds the best way to grow and prosper in a free market.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Improve Louisiana's business environment which will protect current jobs and attract new jobs that may provide healthcare for employees and families. Business expansion and strengthening our existing businesses removes families from the Medicaid roles and provides increased access to high quality private healthcare.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.

Strongly Agree

The LGBTQ+ political agenda poses a threat to First Amendment freedoms of speech, expression and religious exercise.

Strongly Agree

I support expanding protections in employment and accommodations based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Strongly Disagree

If children are given instruction in sex education in public schools, it should not express a preference for abstinence but should be comprehensive, offering discussions on various types of sexual orientations and behaviors plus all types of contraceptives.

Strongly Disagree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Only Devine inspiration given to our Country's Founders could have inspired such a wonderful and time tested document.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I have known Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior for many years. I was born and raised in a Christian Baptist family. I had ample role models to mold my life in my Great Grandmother who lived to age 101 and worked decades for Dr. Dodd at Dodd College and First Baptist Church in Shreveport. My Grandparents were wonderful family leaders, successful in business, society and faithful churchgoers as were my parents. I have fond memories of walking to Broadmoor Baptist Church to worship and develop as a young Christian. I am a product of those people who taught me to work, study, succeed and lead. Haven been given so much, I feel I must return much of my time, treasure and talent to the people around me. My children and grandchildren are my future and I am driven to make the world they live in a better world.

I voted in these elections:

I've created jobs and worked my whole life from newspaper delivery as a teenager, offshore laborer during college summer and working jobs on the LSU campus for five years while attending college classes. Following my college graduation I entered the oil and gas industry and expanded that to include managing timber land for a total of 45 years of working experience, improving Louisiana business climate all along the way.
