Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape and incest

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

The only way to guarantee Social Security benefits going into the future is to secure the economic security of the U.S. This will only be accomplished through a balance budget mandate. With exceptions for national emergencies, that mandate would cap federal spending increases at a level not to exceed the growth rate of the GDP less 1%. In other words, if the GDP grows by 3% in a particular year, then any increase in government spending will not exceed 2%. It would also consist of strategic reductions in inefficient foreign aid programs and federal agencies as well as reforms to government procurement and wasteful programs.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

With exceptions for national emergencies, I would cap federal spending increases at a level not to exceed the growth rate of the GDP less 1%. In other words, if the GDP grows by 3% in a particular year, then any increase in government spending will not exceed 2%. It would also consist of strategic reductions in inefficient foreign aid programs and federal agencies as well as reforms to government procurement and wasteful programs.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The concept of a “separation of church and state” reinforces the legal right of our citizens to freely live their faith, even in public; without fear of government coercion. In addition thereto, our citizens need to be secure in the covenant that the government will not establish or any one specific religion.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I plan to advance proposals for an equitable, affordable and quality healthcare system. These reforms include a new approach to health insurance, significant administrative reforms, changes to medical device and prescription drug procurement and distribution, as well as taking advantage of nationwide efficiencies versus state limitations. The objective will be to reduce the average annual healthcare costs for each individual by approximately 45% of their current costs, substantially reduce government involvement and interference in personal health decisions, and provide additional cost savings to the Medicare system, which will remain in place.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Limit admission to the United States to individuals that have had extensive background screening. Continue to investigate and charge any individual or group of individuals that conspire to engage in terrorism, violent civil unrest or efforts to overthrow the U.S. Government, as governed by the U.S. Constitution (this applies to not only radical Islamic groups/individuals, but to any other individuals or groups).

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I will support securing the border, outlawing sanctuary cities, enacting a zero tolerance policy on illegal border crossings, and enacting an immigration plan that would continue the spirit of accepting those seeking bona fide political refuge, providing for entry based upon merit and U.S. need, and authorizing entry only after extensive and appropriate screening.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I grew up on a cattle farm in southern Maryland where my parents raised me to be diligent, hardworking and honest. In keeping with that upbringing, I was raised in the Episcopal church and obtained my high school degree from an Episcopal parochial school. I continue to this day to be guided by the philosophical and ethical principals I learned as a youth.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Comprehensive written positions are provided on my Website at: Also, the SunSentinel published my responses to their extensive questionnaire. A video of my interview with their staff as well as a published link to my answers to their questionnaire can be found at:

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have become increasingly concerned about the growing political movement promoting a transformation of our country’s political and economic structure, which has been advanced under the banner of democratic socialism. I have also watched the many years of degradation of our country’s manufacturing prowess, increased foreign control and influence over American’s business as well as foreign control over certain critical and strategic resources. My concerns are further compounded by government’s dysfunction associated with budgets and national debt, healthcare, immigration, social programs, international trade, security, and environmental programs, to name a few. I have the requisite background, experience and desire to work with other legislators and the President in addressing these troublesome areas. My sole motivation for running for office is to serve my country as opposed to creating a career in politics, or leveraging that position for a personal economic gain.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Our citizens want to be assured that their 2nd Amendment rights will be preserved, and I will work diligently to preserve those rights. The foregoing being understood, there is in fact an urgent need to keep firearms out of the hands of criminals as well as pursue methods of threat identification and intervention, and implement effective and decisive deterrence measures for violent crime. While background checks are necessary, such legislation needs to comply with due process, and not overreach.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Reintroduce the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which was defeated by the Democrat Congress in 2019. 2. Introduce my healthcare plan described in the answer to #29. 3. Introduce legislation that creates the balance budget mandate referenced in my answer to #30. I actually have a number of others that are nearly as important as the above.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Unfortunately racism is widespread in the U.S., but not in the manner characterized by the media, Democrat party and other radical groups. The whole discourse on race has turned into a tool for creating racial divide for political purposes. In truth, there is as much racism on one side of the political spectrum as the other. Currently demanded legislation would only serve to prejudice and oppress those being wrongly accused of racism solely because of their heritage. I support a withdrawal from class and race identity politics, and encourage the evolution of a truly “blind” society where each individual is encouraged to pursue exceptionalism and achievement; and be judged on the merits of their efforts and quality of their character as was contemplated by Dr. Martin Luther King. I oppose the politically designed dependency programs promoted through race identification rhetoric which has kept our black community anchored to government dependency, limited growth and hatred.
