Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Every life matters!

Economy

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We need to take a closer look at the programs that give out money. This "free" money comes from all tax payers

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

For how to handle this we need to go back to our founding fathers. The letter that is used and misquoted was to a church in the New England States that wanted to be named the denomination of the United States. The reply was that we will not have an official denomination. George Washington said that without God this system will fail. This means no official government denomination.

Healthcare

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

It is not the governments job to require people to purchase health care. There are organizations that provide health care based on a persons ability to pay.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

Immigration

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We need to make sure that those who come here are coming for what our country has to offer as far as life style and not to destroy us or turn our country into the conditions that existed where they came from.

Education

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Values

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus was sent to the world by God to die on the cross and save us from our sins. We need to give to organizations that follow God's rules as He has blessed us to be able to do so. We as adults need to care for children. I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. My values are shown by the organizations I support with donations.

Qualifications

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

The list of organizations that I support with my time and money show that I am very conservative. To my list above I can add Transport for Christ and Focus on the family which I also donate to.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

At my current age of sixty I have a lifetime of employment experience that has taught me what employees deal with everyday. At one time I was a landlord, My previous career I was a farm employee and now for the last twenty five years a truck driver. This gives me a broad range of experiences. I am currently a Coopersburg Borough Councilman and member of the Administration and Finance Committee. I serve my church as Chairman of the trustees and am a member of the Administrative Board and the Staff/parish Relations Committee. This gives me leadership experience.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am not a fluent speaker but my employers know they can count on me to show up every day and do my best. I support President Trump. I take my Christian faith into the voting booth.

Judicial Philosophy

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

More restrictions equal more crime. Criminals do not obey laws. We need to allow teachers to be trained to carry to protect our students. More killings take place with a knife, fists and feet, and blunt objects, then with a gun. So why are there not cries to ban these items?

Other Important Issues

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Agree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

We need to get rid of gun free zones as that is the most unsafe area to be in. We need to allow teachers to be trained to conceal carry so if some one comes into a school the teacher and students are not sitting ducks hoping not to be found. Elected officials should have a 401k for a retirement plan and not a defined benefit plan. What is good enough for us is good enough for everybody. Support school choice with reduced taxes equal to the cost of the school chosen

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes racism is a threat. We need to think about us as a people and not as separate races. Planned Parenthood is carrying on the racists ideas of their founder which is to keep the minority population down. Killing the innocent unborn is harming our country morally and financially. This teaches our children that get rid of what you do not want. Our crime stats show that security is lacking.
