Our Country was founded on Biblical principles. Separating Church and State to me means that the Country would not be allowed to tell you which church denomination or set of religious beliefs you could/should follow as long as the religious services and involvement operate within the law of the land.

Healthcare must include a component of personal responsibility. Health care must offer choices for varied insurance plans with health coverage. Allowing consumer engagement in knowing the cost for various health care precedures and proceses should be incorporated into the individual's choice of insurance product. I support transparency in costs of health care so physicians and patients may choose treatment knowing the actual cost.

I am a Christian who believes the Bible is inerrant as the true Word of God. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit exist in the Triune God. Jesus saves us from our sin with His Death and Ressurection. This is most certainly true.

I served 10 years in the Kansas House of Representatives during which time I voted numerous times for bills that would limit government and make budgets for state governemt efficient and effective with a minimal amount of tax dollars. I have voted against tax increases which threaten fiscal restraint and responsibility in government functions. I also served as Osage County, KS Treasurer during which time I endeavored to collect taxes levied while maintaining fiscal responsibility for office operations. I pursued delinquent taxation on personal property and real estate property which had gone uncollected for over 10 years. I am an advocate for children born and unborn. I have voted for numerous bills of pro-life legislation. I support the right to bear arms by voting and advocating for legislation protecting those rights such as concealed carry bills.

I have served in the Kansas House of Representatives for 10 year, 2 of which were service in a leadership role as House Majority Leader.

No . . . I have never been convicted of a felony.

I have a record of putting people first, standing strong on principle, and working to make certain government is smart, lean and responsive to the real needs of it citizens. I know the value of leading by listening, finding consensus without compromising key values, and building trust through transparency. I value the public trust and I know how to tell the truth.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
Local government elected officials in the offices of County Clerk and County Treasurer need to have antiquated legislation that is over burdensome and does not accomplish a goal once needed . . . removed or revamped. Repealer legislation after review of local government elected responsibilities and processes. The tax foreclosure process needs to be updated to include innovative ways of folding in electronic information for locating the addresses of taxpayers and therefore the taxpayers themselves. Term Limits of 6-2 year terms in the Kansas House and 3-4 year terms in the Kansas Senate. Serving in both Houses would be allowed.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is a threat to public safety in the US. Therefore, it must be addressed in a way that public safety, the number#1 role of govenment, is kept intact and is in effect. Racism is a threat to the foundations of our Constitution and liberty. Our security as a country is threateded whenever there is unjust and unequal treatment of citizens according to the Constitional founding principles.
