Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion can only be considered and potentially allowed under the direction of a competent medical professional (such as an MD) in cases where the life of the mother is at risk, when the child is deemed dead, or when rape and incest has occurred.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I would work to enact legislation that is NOT funded by taking money from the Social Security funds. Overall, however, I am concerned about the viability of Social Security as the sole retirement benefit for Americans. I want to help build an economy that can provide people with opportunities for more sources of wealth beyond solely relying on the government for their retirement.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

The government needs to look at what subsidies currently in place provide little benefit to the American people, such subsidies should be eliminated when they won't have a terrible impact on worker's income or small business income. Additionally, the government has many departments/arms experiencing "expense layering." Overall, improving resource allocation (both in a financial sense and in a human capital sense) is the key to reducing the deficit.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

We have things setup pretty nicely right now, for the most part. For example, debtors who go and work in high risk areas as teacher or medical professionals get forgiveness. This is a perfect structure because it helps get highly qualified graduates into areas of most need. Additionally, another solid example is loan forgiveness toward those who serve our country in the armed forces.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

My views on this are detailed by an article written by Neal Hardin. His article can be found here: In short, the government is not a place to promote any form of specific religion. People should remain free to worship according to the dictates of their own conscience as long as such worshiping doesn't infringe upon others. This means an elected official should NOT use any government connection to promote their own religion, that there should be no state sponsored religion and that people should be free to practice the religion of their choice without persecution from the government or its officials.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Expanding available health care plans and empowering patient choice is vital to lowing health care costs. For example, a young lady practicing celibacy should not be required to have a maternity care option on her health insurance plan. My stance is clearly detailed here:

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Diplomatic efforts are vital and the use of military force should be our last resort. We must find unity within our borders and with our allies by continuing to provide them with our unparalleled support as they continue to do the same for us. I support following The National Strategy for Counterterrorism of the United States of America published on October 2018 under the direction of President Trump. The entire document canoe found here:

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

(Did not answer)

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone who is willing to follow our laws, pursue the American Dream, work hard/smart through residing in and entering our country legally.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God the Father, in his son Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and in the Holy Ghost. And with that, I believe that all people have the privilege to worship any deity, any person, or anything as they so chose... provided they don't infringe upon the rights of another. I believe that all men are born free and equal; that no man, combination of men, or government of men, have power or authority to compel or force others to embrace any system of religion or to use force to prevent others from enjoying their own opinions, or practicing the same, so long as they do not molest or disturb others with that religion, in a manner to deprive them of their privileges as free citizens-or of worshipping as they choose. I believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men. I believe in following the admonition of Paul — If there is anything virtuous, lovely, of good report or praiseworthy, I will seek after those things.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am running for The United State House of Representatives because we need people in office who are in touch with the regular person. Idaho, like most of the nation, is in the grips of calamity because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Panic is rampant and doing just as much damage as the virus. Businesses are shutting down, people are buying too much toilet paper and the unemployment rate is going to skyrocket. Tough times are ahead. Idaho needs someone, like me, with vision and an understanding of what needs to be done to get our nation out of this trouble. I have over 15 years of business ownership experience under my belt, and I have employed hundreds of Idahoans. Those employees need a voice. Idaho needs elected officials who understand the needs of employees and small business owners. I am running for elected office because my experience, my understanding and my service will help us overcome this crisis. I have the same struggles everyone of you do. I am here for Idaho.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Enforcing the restrictions and laws on gun ownership that we currently have should be adequate. With that, we need to focus on improving access for those in need of help with their mental health, and we need to focus on finding better was to identify those who are having a difficult time with their mental health.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Agree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?  1. Mortgage lending practices. For example, individuals who have rented for two years with no problems at a given price on their current income level should be eligible to buy a home with a mortgage payment at or below that same given price. 2. Federal lands going back to the western states and better established water rights. 3. Small business help in order to strengthen the backbone of USA.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism blinds us as a people by leading individuals to jump to conclusions solely based on what they see. Conclusions should be based on more than the way someone looks and more on a detailed empirical assessment of facts beyond just appearance or race.
