Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

All welfare programs, elimination of government support of all professional sports facilities, the support of all non-educational related items in schools including sports related items.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

'Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.' I believe the Establishment Clause was intended to prohibit the federal government from declaring and financially supporting a national religion. I do not believe it means the church was meant to stay out of politics nor that the church could not influence political leaders to do those things that are right and moral. I believe the Johnson amendment should be repealed because it restricts the free speech rights of churches and other religious groups. I do not believe the government would have any right to tax the church.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Encourage a more competitive and affordable private health insurance market by providing more tax incentives for employers to provide insurance for employees. Also make health insurance portable across state lines. Continue to use the current infrastructure but limit government healthcare to encourage greater use of private healthcare by providing greater incentives to use private employer provided healthcare.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People from any country so long as they are vetted through a strict vetting process. Vetted for any history of acts of terrorism, ties to any terrorist group and/or any group seeking the overthrow of the US government, and/or history of violent crimes. That they are willing to adhere to US law and not coming here trying to impose sharia law. They need to be willing to work and not come here to live off the welfare system. Need to learn English.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Christian, an unashamed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is my Savior, Lord, and best friend. I love the Lord and want to do God's will to love God and love my neighbor. I am for the preservation of all life from conception to natural death. I am for the traditional Biblical view of marriage; one man and one woman. I am for religious freedom as set out in the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the additional amendments.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Would repeal the following provisions of the Indiana religious freedom restoration act: (1) An application provision stating certain limitations on the statute. (2) The definition of "provider".

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes. Violence that originates because of a person's bias because of ethnicity/culture is a domestic security threat. Racism typically breeds violence.
