Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

No taxpayer funded abortions. Beyond that, the matter should be determined on an individual basis between the woman and her doctor.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We must re-establish Social Security as a self-funded program as originally intended. In 1933, when the program was set up, the average age of death was much earlier than today. So, to account for today's longer life expectancy, we must gradually increase the age to begin receiving SS benefits until balance between revenue and payments is achieved within the program itself. This adjustment should not affect those close to "retirement" age, and should be done gradually so as to give all parties a reasonable opportunity to adjust and plan for their eventual qualification for their old-age benefits.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Cut welfare spending to illegal aliens and those US citizens who are able to work. Reform Social Security to return to a self-funded program. Reduce funding for student loan program and other federal education mandates, such as "common core" Cut government healthcare spending by restricting expansion of medicaid and support of free market insurance industry.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

Stop taxpayer "bail-out" of existing student loan debt. Consider individual situations for just cause to adjust payments. Correct problem in future by assuring private bank accountability for the system.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Government should not interfere with free exercise of religion, like stated in first amendment to the constitution.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Support robust free market for insurance companies to offer the widest possible range of services. Reduce unnecessary government regulations as much as possible. Reduce barriers to inter-state commerce by insurance companies to assure maximum portability of their plans. For healthcare of poor, allow medical practitioners to provide their treatment at no cost to patient, with compensation to practitioners in the form of a tax credit or deduction on their own personal tax return.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Firm enforcement of our own immigration laws, with special regard to vetting those seeking entry from regions known to tolerate radical Islamic beliefs and lacking accountability to vet their own citizens seeking to leave. In those regions, support and cooperate with allies to sanction governments that promote radical Islamic terrorism by policy or practice.

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Restrict immigration to those who can support themselves without government welfare - those most needed to contribute to the economic well-being of the country.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Christian - with strong conviction of our basic spiritual nature. Each one has a perfect inner guidance and true nature that is good, which will ultimately prevail over evil in the world. Absolute laws of nature are the foundation for expressing this true natural being. In this sense, doing what is good is based on reason in harmony with these laws which must be good for all.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Publications about a wide range of public policy issues at my campaign website:, and social media, such as See also, the website of my organization, International Montessori Society,

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Congress is dysfunctional, more committed to the special interests of career politicians, rather than the people they are supposed to represent. Needed are members of congress who represent the interests of all ordinary citizens. Government has become so massive that it invites greed and lust for power and control, that is too easily achieved by incumbent career politicians. My pledge is to fight for a better US Congress, to work against these forces of corruption in congress, and represent the true interests of people for a self-governing republic. My main issues are: citizens first, freedom not socialism, and responsible spending for a sound economy.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Gun ownership should be restricted to those with prior criminal behavior involving guns.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

(1) legislation to reduce budget deficit and national debt. (2) assure greater competition and choice in higher education; accountability in student loans through private lending agencies. (3) legislation to restrict and control illegal immigration.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Only significant as it is promoted for partisan political gain.
