Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Under certain circumstances such as in the cases of rape, incest or the life of the mother.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

First we need to recognize that there are people who want to destroy us simply because we are Americans. I support the President's efforts to reinforce old alliances and form new ones to unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism. We need to take the fight to them and be prepared to unleash the full force of our military to deprive them of strongholds.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Founders knew that our rights, liberties and personal freedoms all come from God. The constitution was written to protect these and limit government.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was was brought up Pentecostal/Evangelical. I believe that we were called to be a light in the darkness - to help our community and fight for them. For the past 15 years, I have been a member of The Church Triumphant in Pasadena TX. I will rely upon my faith to guide me while I serve in the United States Congress.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I believe in smaller, limited government. Our individual liberties and personal freedoms are under attack and we must fight back to protect our American way of life. In Congress, I will protect our liberties and freedom and look for ways to dramatically reduce the size of the federal government.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Repeal Obamacare and allow states to draft plans that meet their needs.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The greatness of America rests in our individual liberties and personal freedoms. It rests in our unlimited potential and the people that built it. It's time to get government out of the way so we can unlock that potential. We need to create an environment for the economy to grow and thrive. Our goal should be 4% economic growth. That starts with making the tax cuts permanent. Congress has passed too many laws that are interfering with positive economic growth. In Congress, I will be looking to dramatically cut the size for the federal government, eliminate regulations no longer needed, and simplify those that remain.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

The tax code needs to be simpler. I also support making the tax cuts permanent.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Dramatically cut the size of government, remove the barriers and cut regulations so businesses expand and create jobs.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Social Security is going bankrupt and we can no longer kick the can down the road. We need people with the political courage to fight for reform. For those seniors approaching retirement age, there should be no change. They paid into the system, they have planned on receiving these benefits. It's not fair to change the rules of the game on them. Next, we should allow younger workers to keep a portion of their payments in a personal account that they control and can grow at market rates.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I grew up in the district, community leader and a successful business owner. I come from humble beginnings and was raised by my single mother, Rafaela - who was born in Mexico and immigrated to Texas in 1966 and became a U.S. citizen. My father was born in Weslaco, TX and worked as a machinist and is a chairman at the United Steelworkers Labor Union. I've been active in numerous Republican organizations including: Attending the Texas Federation of Republican Women Leadership training; Volunteering at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio; Member of the San Jacinto Republican Woman; Representing Bay Area Republican Women Standing Committee as Publicity Chair; Member of the Hispanic Committee for the Republican Party of Texas. A member of CUFI Christian United for Israel and lobbied in Washington 2017 for the "Taylor Force Act" " Israel Anti- Boycott Act" Bills. Volunteers at the Bridge for Batter Woman, Project Joy and Hope, and Christmas toy drives.
