Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

You either believe God alone gives life or He doesn't. If it's God that opens the womb then it is the intentional giving of life by God. You can't say God opens the womb as long the pregnancy is wanted. You don't get to have it both ways. It's either murder or it's not. I believe God is the giver of life and who are we to question God? In the case of the mother's life, I'd much rather see them try to save both and the outcome be the outcome. I know many people do not agree with my thinking. The fact is, currently abortion is the law so unless the law gets changed it's a moot point. In the interim, however, I'd like to see more pro-life clinics available to women. Although I am completely against abortion no matter what the situation, I would vote to allow abortions for rape/incest or the life of the mother, although personally I don't agree with it.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

I believe a portion of the funds collected should be invested to protect the future of the fund, either through the government or through partial privatization; means-testiing. I think we should take a look at the retirement age and adjust it due to longer life-expectancy. We can raise the cap on Social Security earnings and reinstate payroll tax for those with income over $400k.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Foreign aid, subsidies, monies to the states, to start.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

If the recipient serves in the military.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means that the government has no right to interfere with the teachings/practices of churches. Not that religion should not be allowed in government. If anything we need to remember the Christian values our forefathers had and return to those same value/principles.

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

One of things we can do in regards to healthcare is to bring costs down for American families. Even employer-provided medical insurance costs are out of control. Opening insurance companies up to selling across state lines will create competition and help drive costs down. Another thing we can do is have employer pools that would allow small businesses to join together to give them purchasing power, thus driving down costs to both employer and employee. Although this is not going to be a one step solution to solve this, these are steps in the right direction.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

I believe that we need to continue to stand with Israel, especially publicly. Next, secure our border. This helps protect us against possible attacks here. Stronger vetting for ANYONE coming to our country. Impose tougher sanctions on countries known to provide terrorist funding or aid, work with our partners and allies in the region and eradicate them militarily. I believe this is what President Trump is already doing and it seems to be working. I'd probably take a closer look at Boko Haram and Al-Shabaab, but I would like to see the road we are currently on, continue. What I don't believe in are, pointless wars or unwarranted regime changes.

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone that follows our current laws and applies and gets approved. Properly vetted foreigners wanting a worker or student visa. People with a legitimate asylum claim.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I love God and my life is about serving Him. That in turn means serving the people. Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve... I believe every single word of the Bible was written by God and is true and we should do what it says for our own good. I believe in the 10 Commandments and realize their removal from schools is part of the reason our school system is in crisis and society in a steep moral decline. I believe in the power of prayer and that through Christ and by no other way, we have eternal life. I know He orders the steps of the righteous. I believe in the gifts of the Spirit and miracles. My life with Him is a relationship everyday not an hour on Sundays.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I do not have any public information to support this other than on social media over the years but if you really know the Lord, you really can't be anything but conservative.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am a wife of 31 years to my loving husband, mother of two millennials that are conservative, and a grandmother of 5 incredible children, however, first and foremost I am a Christian. I have only two commandments to follow. Love God and love others. ALL others. This means regardless of age, gender, skin color, religion, sexual orientation or anything else that makes us different, I will represent YOU. I will be accessible, I will work hard, and I will represent ALL people.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Restrictions on gun ownership is already out of control in some states, especially here in CA. Imposing more restrictions only means making it harder for law abiding citizens to obtain firearms to protect themselves. We need to address mental health and early detection in school age adolescents. Help students that display certain behavioral or social characteristics and address their issues early. Stiffer penalties for gun offenses with or without a crime.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. The withholding of all federal aid to any state that has declared sanctuary cities 2. Allow small businesses to ban together to purchase health insurance in bulk for lower costs to both employers and employees 3. Impose an additional federal penalty for those convicted of a crime where a firearm is used, regardless of whether or not there is loss of life or injury, to included a mandatory amount of jail time to run consecutively, on top of their sentence.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It is. There is so much anger out there right now and a lot of people in positions that have the ability to help unite our country would rather keep us divided. This has to stop. At the end of the day we are all Americans. We shouldn't have to be afraid because of our religion, gender, skin color, etc... Hate crimes should have even stiffer penalties then they do now.
