Right to Life

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

When the mother's life is endanger is where I stand. Choice starts before conception and once conceived that baby’s life must be defended. There are extreme circumstances, such as rape, that should be considered but those extreme circumstances represent less than 1% of all abortions in the US. That means 99% of abortion are used as birth control and I cannot support it.

Economy

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

This is a complicated issue. What I wouldn’t do is privatize social security because that will cost more and not solve the problem, in fact, it may actually make it worse. The biggest issue facing social security is that it’s paying out more than its taking in, so if we increase job numbers in the US, in theory, we can start addressing the solvency issue.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Government spending is out of control and there are literally thousands of areas that could be cut to reduce spending. I would start with Congress and all the money they waste on travel and promoting their work as legislators. That is a big waste of money and I would eliminate that first. Some examples: Eliminate the Market Access Program (MAP), a corporate welfare program that funnels taxpayer dollars to large, profitable corporations and trade associations.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

I prefer the government bailout everyday Americans from student loan debt than rescue corporations that destroy the economy. I´d rather give people the funding to start a business, so they can earn money and pay their loans rather than give corporations another bailout. If students serve a four year tour in the military, fight in a war or retire with student loan debt, then I think we can consider a taxpayer bailout for these people.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means the church, as an institution, has no voice in how government is run. It does not mean we must govern outside the moral and ethical codes established by our faith. Western civilization and every institution is founded on biblical moral and ethical principles of justice and good, from women's rights to the concept of justice.

Healthcare

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

We need high quality affordable health care for the middle class and that starts with a strong economy so people have good jobs and the money to afford healthcare. One key issue is opening the market so we can eliminate regional monopolies and bring down prices on coverage and prescription drugs.

National Security

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

The United States should do whatever it takes in order to eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism! From military strikes that take out their leaders, helping those regions help themselves build viable governments and societies, to eradicating extremist inside our country. The homeland must be safe and we must eradicate hate at home.

Immigration

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigration must be merit based and extended to those that wish to become Americans, assimilate into our culture, way of life and contribute to our society not be a burden to it. We are a great nation of immigrants and we must and we believe in the American Dream, minimum every immigrant must hold those values.

Education

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Values

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am Jewish and have lived my life with a strict moral and ethical code that has kept me away from a world surrounded by vice and excesses.

Qualifications

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I always consider what’s best for the American people and this great nation when considering policy. The best category and the foundation of my policy framework is REALIST and that requires to view the world as it is, not as we wish it were. Addressing problems before they occur or the actual problem is always the best way to construct policy. My views on economic policy, foreign policy and a wide variety of social issues can be found in my book The America First Doctrine, Guiding the American Family, and it’s available on Amazon.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Please visit my web site www.CruzUSA.org and DONATE to my campaign and help me turn this district RED! Help me turn California RED! I am conservative I am a Trump Republican I believe in a Strong America I believe in the American Family I believe in the American Dream! I am a normal everyday American that believes in the American Dream and I am simply tired of being overlooked by my own government, over taxed, under paid and seeing my California full of homeless and my country full of sanctuary cities where illegal foreign criminals can roam free. I want less taxes and affordable homes in California and political leaders that worry about making life better for our citizens before anyone else. My book, The America First Doctrine (Guiding the American Family) is essential reading for the 2020 election cycle. Please join me and follow my campaign and activities on social media. God Bless.

Criminal Justice

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Disagree

2nd Amendment

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the second Amendment and I will defend our constitutional right to bear arms. It’s a fact that strict gun laws do nothing to reduce violent crimes, just look at Chicago. Criminals don’t care about gun laws or any laws, as a matter of fact, and I will not support more restrictive gun laws that hurt law abiding Americans.

Other Important Issues

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Agree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

a. Comprehensive Immigration Reform b. Guaranteed Small Business Loans & Business Development c. Financial & Market Regulation

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Not having jobs, opportunities so Americans can work for the American Dream is the real domestic threat to our society. There is still racism in our country but it is not a threat to domestic security because our country has largely overcome racism on every level of mainstream America. It wasn’t until democrats and the main stream media started using race to attack President Trump that the issue of racism was even considered an issue again.
