Employment is tied to jobs which are tied to opportunities to work and skill to do the work. To bring unemployment down requires group and individual effort. Each person needs to become skilled and willing to work of their on motivation. Educated, skilled individuals either find jobs with companies or become self-employed individuals. Discussions with companies that desire to be established need to happen. In some cases bureaucratic red tape needs to be analyzed to see if government is actually preventing companies from expanding.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Government provides public protection, public transportation systems, tax incentives, and any services that are too large for anyone organization. A stable government based on the constitution is one of the greatest incentives for business and companies to expand.
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

One step in affordable health care is transparency in pricing for all medical procedures. Another step is the reform of laws regarding law suits. I do not think that government is a very good health care provider. All one has to do is look at the Veterans Hospital arrangement.
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

I believe in the God of the bible. I value the direction of God in my life and through the inspired word of the bible. I believe in the institutions that God established so that we can live peaceful lives. Those institutions are the family, the church, and the government.

I think that immigration laws need to be properly applied. I think that immigration needs to be overhauled. The idea of being an American citizen just because one is born here needs so revision. Our relationships with other nations should be based on policy in line with U.S. values.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have degrees at the bachelor and master's level in education and administration thus representing the largest employer in the district. I have also worked with inmate rehabilitation in the prison system. I have experience in leadership through work and training in ministry as well as the military. I know and love the people of the district which is my home. I can related to people throughout the district form the hill of the northern part of the district to the river bottom farming country in the southern part. I am a farmer. I know the work and struggles of the hard working man. I have also lived outside the district in cities such as Houston and New York which have provided me with rich insights into the world at large. I have also traveled to a number of foreign countries. My experiences and insights go beyond just those of always being in the district. My life is a life of service. I have either been in public school teaching, prison instruction, or ministry. I see ministry in God's institutions at every level from the individual taking care of self, to the family, and government institutions (schools, prisons, state government, and federal government) If District 10 so desires, I will be happy to work with them and for them at the state level as representative.
I support the death penalty.
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
More restrictive gun control is needed to protect public safety.
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Gambling should be limited to existing forms and should not be de-regulated or expanded.
