What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
We need businesses to come to Louisiana instead of choosing other states. Our infrastructure is terrible, our legal environment is terrible and our taxes are too high. We need to fix our roads and bridges, lower the jury trial threshold, and lower taxes. Those changes will bring in more businesses with good-paying jobs and lower unemployment.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government can boost the economy by upgrading our infrastructure, lowering taxes, and lowering the jury trial threshold. All of these issues create unneeded for businesses which means they cannot use their money to bring good jobs to Louisiana. If we fix some of these problems, it will allow businesses to invest more money and it will boost our economy.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The founding fathers saw what happens when you have taxation without representation and when a King has too much control. They created three separate branches of government to hold each branch accountable and to make sure that one branch does not have too much power. These three branches work together to create a government that is fair for everyone.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
The Gospel is the good news that God, because of his great love for his people, has done everything necessary for us to live in relationship with him. God created us and deserves our allegiance, but we rebelled because we wanted to do life on our own without him. Jesus came to earth as fully God and fully man to live the life I could not live and suffered the punishment I deserved for my treason. When I put my faith in Christ, I become part of his family. God, who created everything, sent His only, perfect Son to die a horrible death so that my sins would be covered. Because of His sacrifice and grace, I am free from guilt and shame and get to spend eternity in heaven with Him.
