What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Founders had the experience of living under a political system that had no limitations placed on the government. They created a system under the Articles of Confederation, which proved to be ineffective. The Constitution was an attempt to strengthen the central government while providing a means to limit said central government. Adopting the Constitution came about due to a combination of experience with faulty government and their education of more classic governments.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a husband, a father, and a Christian. I want to be left alone from undue government interference in my life. I want to raise my children and prepare them to start their lives as adults. I want them to be successful. I want them to have a country, and a community to live in. I am fed up with the political theater that the left and right engage in.

Qualifications

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I am choosing 'Moderate' because this question is asked under the Left/Right paradigm, which I do not subscribe to. Economically I am a libertarian. Foreign Policy, I am tired of policing the world and fighting unnecessary wars. Border Security, I am with the conservatives. Immigration, we need practical solutions.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have a Bachelors in Legal Studies. I am a semester away from a Bachelors in Computer Science. I have been a founder of a tech start up, worked as a real estate agent, been a shipyard worker, and changed careers. I understand the economic environment of this state and the Gulf Coast. With my experiences and education I can influence the legislative process to help Mississippi become a home to tech companies as well as other industries that are not currently located here.
