None

Economy

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Strongly Agree

Socialism provides a robust foundation for a stable economy.

Strongly Disagree

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Allow the free market system to work by removing overreaching governmental regulations and punitive taxes.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The government should "get out of the way" and allow the free market system work.

Religious Liberty

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Healthcare

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would return healthcare to the free market system and remove restrictive regulations. Have major and serious reform to Medicaid/Medicare, while removing the government from the healthcare system as much as possible.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The depravity of man's nature in most cases proves the saying that " power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". The Founding Fathers realized this and therefore took the necessary steps to curtail those aspects of human nature.

The fact that I am an American citizen is all the qualification needed, however, the fact that I have been deeply involved in state politics for many years gives me an insight to how the system works vs how it should work.

I am a home school mom of five. I never thought that I would run for office but after being involved the past several years in state politics, I have come to realize that we, the everyday Mississippian, are not being represented according to our faith and moral standards.
