How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Federalize the system along the lines of the VA.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Funds for basic science and applied sciences. Spending to initiate new technologies as was done in the computer, nuclear and aircraft industries No corporate welfare. Pretty much stay out of it except during times of depression.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Increase corporate taxes to level in the Republican fifties to spur greater investment. Equalize rates between labor and capital. Generally, agree with Benjamin Franklin's views.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Tax dividends at higher rates to spur reinvestment in plant and human capital.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Invest some of trust fund in equities to get a higher rate of return. Also, seek a balance in the age distribution by immigration measures to ensure enough young workers contributing to support retires.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Liberal Arts degree. Secondary education teaching certification. Mainly, by long term non fiction reading usually a book a week. Attendance at numerous conferences and lectures.
