Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I believe Government should make it easier for the private sector to thrive. this should happen through regulation reform. A competitive corporate tax rate. We also need fair and competitive trade. We are the leaders of the free world. We have a responsibility to lead the world in free and open democracy. Peace through strength. First and foremost we need to secure our borders. Without borders we are not a country. We need people who want to come to our country go through the correct process when wanting to become a citizen. We need to make it easier for people who want to work here but want to return home through our visa process. We also need to make sure business is not abusing this process.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

People with preexisting conditions should be in a high-risk pool. We must ensure they are getting the proper care they need. We should be able to buy insurance across State lines. We also need tort reform. The exchanges are in place and we should let private companies compete on those exchange's. The good news is small businesses are able to join forces and buy insurance as a large group to drive prices down. We also need to drive prescription drugs prices down by negotiating with them and by making it easier to bring new drugs to market.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Ensuring our small and large businesses have a competitive playing field whether home or abroad. We need fair trade and a attractive corporate tax rate. We also need commonsense regulation.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

I believe the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is a great start. I would make them permanent for individuals.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

create a competitive business environment and a educational pipeline for business needs.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We need to raise the cap on contributions. I would also look at small incremental raises on the retirement age.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am a small business owner and a Navy veteran. I meet a payroll. I live the harmful regulations that impact my capabilities to hire and grow.
