Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
In cases of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is threatened.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Support and facilitate the military operations of regional allies confronted with the brunt of it. I do not believe in bogging our nation down in another foreign quagmire. Islam as a religion, and the nations which practice it, must reform itself from within as Christianity did.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
America's founders wisely designed our system to counteract ambition, vanity, and avarice.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian rationalist. I believe in God. But I understand that many do not, which is why *all* of my positions and policies are rational, secular arguments grounded in facts and evidence.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am an independent conservative. But the focus of my campaign is on moderate reforms which sensible voters from both sides can agree on. In this 30-minute interview, I attest to identifying as a conservative who loves this country and seeks to unify, rather than divide, good people from both sides. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMm91EmrBGI&t=6s
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The status quo is killing people. Americans need affordable, patient-centered care but government cannot deliver this--but free markets can. Ideally, Congress should pass a revamped Patient’s Choice Act, providing a Universal Health Refund, Flexible Savings Accounts, and a Health Insurance Tax Credit for workers without benefits.Realistically, Congress will remain gridlocked and do nothing. Nevertheless, a couple simple fixes–such as letting Medicare leverage its buying power, importing prescriptions form Canada, and paying for outcomes instead of procedures–could do a lot of good.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
We need to liberate individuals and communities from the crony capitalism concocted by Big Government and Big Business. We must stop corporate welfare by creating a national commission to identify and eliminate subsidies. We must unleash small business by cutting red tape and busting the trusts dominating our markets in every sector. We must combat inequality by improving access to capital through a National Permanent Fund, fed by rent from untapped federal properties and natural resources. And we must repeal the federal tax on income and replace it with a national sales tax on consumption.
What changes should be made to the tax code?
None. The federal income tax, along with the IRS, should be abolished and replaced by a national sales tax.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Simple. Cut taxes and erase unnecessary regulations.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Saving Social Security will require political will the likes of which we have yet to see in D.C. It is a looming fiscal crisis, but if both sides come together we can get it done. Here's a start: Index SS's cost-of-living adjustment to the chained consumer price index--rather than the current outdated measure--and raise the early and full retirement ages to 65 and 70, then index both to increases in life expectancy.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
My education in political theory, combined with professional experience in conducting communications for Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies, and national nonprofits.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am not a millionaire. I am not a D.C. insider. I am a fed up 26-year-old who loves this country, and wants to stop elites from plundering it and radicals from ripping it apart.
