Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The Supreme Court has ruled that abortion is a legal procedure in the United States of America. That being said, I believe that when the life of the mother is in danger, and abortion is the only way to save the mother's life, abortion should be allowed without question. I also believe that if someone is impregnated due to rape, abortion should be allowed.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

I believe we should stop attacking countries around the world, and withdraw our troops from the countries that have seen occupation by American forces for decades. Our country would be better protected from blowback by bringing our troops home, and would be protected overall by having the greatest military force in the world at home, rather than half the world away.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Founding Fathers were all intelligent individuals who knew their history, and saw the rise and fall of empires caused by a multitude of factors. Through argument, reason, and a plethora of ideas both good and bad, they tied together a framework that allowed for a government small enough to grow the nation, but small enough for the people to keep in check. They also knew that they hadn't made a completely perfect document, so they added ways to change it through time.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I consider myself a non-denominational Christian.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Somewhat Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I am socially liberal. However, when it comes to government policy I believe in small government, fiscal responsibility, and individual freedom. Most of which (these days) tend to swing conservative.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would work with the healthcare industry overall (patients included) to find ways to back the government further out of it's current role in order to save costs to doctors and insurers, which could then be passed along to the consumer. As part of the process I would work to provide better tax breaks for all taxpayers when it comes to their insurance costs, as well as tax breaks to insurers for costs relating to insuring "high risk" individuals, thereby reducing their financial burden to insure those people, and incentivizing them to lower the rates of those consumers to affordable levels.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Governments role should simply be to itself run as effectively as possible, and have fiscal policy that gives the rest of the world confidence that we'll be around as power for centuries to come. Actual monetary involvement based on market swings should be severely limited.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

Too many to list, but the first thing that needs to be addressed is spending. I want taxes to be reduced to as little as possible, but if we're spending $1 Trillion over what we bring in we're not practicing sound financial policy.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

An education system that works to fill a wide range of jobs from blue to white collar, rather than building an entire system around standardized testing. Then business friendly tax policy, and encouragement through policy for start-up and expanding business.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Based on how Social Security is setup, the only way to "guarantee' benefits is to increase the working population to pay for the population going into the program. Outside of that it's raise the ceiling for Social Security tax to be collected, reducing the benefits, raising the age requirements, or a combination of all of those things.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I meet all of the Constitutional requirements to run, so that qualifies me without question. Past that, my background is in finance and markets, most especially the real estate market. I came out of college during the recession, and have studied both crisis markets and bull markets. I have, like many Americans, lived through the past few decades of unhelpful strife between the two major parties, and run as a supporter of sound monetary policy, a belief in a smaller government, and the ability for government to back a policy of individual freedom.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

My goal is to make sure the government intrudes on you as little as possible, but gives you something to be proud of no matter where you may find yourself.
